is there anyway to prevent retinal detachment?

Is there anyway that I can prevent retinal detachment?
Ex.eat vitamin c or something like that.
Sometimes my vision is gone for like 0,01 sec, its like a blink, just without that blinking.
What is that, does it have anything to do with retinal tear?

There is nothing that can be done to prevent retinal detachments. Although, it does make sense to protect your eyes with proper eyewear when playing sports or working with power tools like chainsaws.
Your vision problem is not indicative of retinal detachment. If you're worried about it go see an ophthalmologist for a full dilated eye exam.
