nhs uk :(

HMMMMM  re double vision/zig zag colours in both eyes

Visited gp  was informed that i would  had to wait on list to see specialist possibly six months or more!!
vision becoming blurry more often, zig zag colours appear most days

Hey fellow brit, Many thanks for your comment, I went to AE  at the Royal Liverpool hosp yesterday, and they have referred me to  the eye surgeon. I am seeing him on Tuesday 9th Sept.

Probably good advise. your problem can be due to eye disease, or disease of the brain, heart or blood vessels. Only after all those have been excluded can a diagnosis of ocular migraine be made with certainty.

Hi I am from the UK but currently live in the US so know how both systems work. I would recommend seeing the specialist privately in the UK. It's usually not too expensive and you can be seen within days. For something like your eyes, this is a good investment believe me. In the US, you can see whoever you want......but believe me also when I tell you the bills are scary. Even with insurance! Don't hate on the NHS just yet. Get down to Moorefields if you're that worried and see someone privately.
