what happen after referral for a retinal hole and can the optometrist do laser ?

In my country , if you have an eye problem, you have to go to the optometrist who would then refer you to the opthalmogist, so I was seeing flashes and my opt said i had a retinal.hole near the peripheral.but a bit closer in, I was referred to the hospital, so I was wondering what the process would be ? I'm just quit anxious about my appointment and I wad also wondering if the optometrist  can do laser surgery  and if I do have laser surgery how long would it take to build scar tissue and would it be safe to  go on rides?

Optometrists are not physicians, don't go to medical school and properly in most jurisdictions are not allowed to do surgery or laser.  People ride in cars immediately before and after laser. If you mean bumpy rides like tractors or amusement park rides they are best avoided indefinitely

None of those questions can be answered as these retina conditions are all very individualistic. It takes most people 6-12 weeks for adhesions to form
Your ophthalmologist is in the best position to answer the questions for you.
Well hypothetically if someone had a retinal tear and it was lasered what is the chance of getting a detachment
I won't "guess" here.  And that is what it would be.
Can u plz explain everything to me like what happens, and also what are the chances or risk
You don't seem to understand that I cannot tell you anything about your risks, your procedure because it varies from person to person and I have no way of telling what your eye looks like on the insude.  Your optom should be doing the explaining
