Had a Synfony Toric lens installed abut a week ago. Am still cloudy in that eye and can not see clearly at any distance. How long should this take to clear or will it not get clear?

It sounds like his issue isn't related to the choice of lens since he says his vision is cloudy and not clear at any distance.
To the poster: It sounds like something they need to look at in a post op check. I gather that PCO (posterior capsular opacification) usually appears later, but can appear even immediately after surgery and cause cloudiness (sort of like a cataract does) and is something that can be treated with a YAG laser in a few minute procedure if thats the issue. I don't know what other issues might cause cloudiness a week postop that might still be healing.
Its described as "cloudy" which doesn't sound like merely blurry vision due to the refraction being off. If it is just blurry vision, one possibility with a toric lens is that its rotated, which can lead to residual astigmatism (which can reduce vision at all distances) as well as being farsighted or nearsighted. If that is the issue they usually can rotate the lens, and you need to ask them about the issue.
