Femara ladies

I know there's a few of us on Femara this cycle. I think quite a few on round 2. I just finished my last pill this am, YAY! I'm doing 5mg cd2-6. So far, really good. No s/e like Clomid for sure. I o'd very late on it last cycle, but think it was residual effects from the cyst. I'm feeling good about this round. Anyone else have any good/bad to throw in on Femara? Anyone else gearing up for opking? I am so excited. Cd1-6 went by really fast. It won't be long until we are all back in tww!

Heather: so sorry about you af....but dont keep low look at it as the beginning of a fresh new cycle.

I am doing great, that for asking hopefullyblessed. I got my US today. Baby is 7mm long, heard the heartbeat. was the most amazing feeling to see a feel a life withing you. I am blessed. I go for my next US next week to see if the baby is growing fine.

My RE didn't schedule a beta, just told me to take a HPT and if positive, then to come in for a beta...  I hope to follow in your shoes!

Thank you so much! We are still bursting! I'm 11 days past transfer and I have my 1st appointment tomorrow afternoon. I hope my numbers get better and better. I will keep you guys posted.

Oh, hopeful...that's wonderful news!!! Congratulations! It couldn't have happened to a more deserving girl!!! And 378 is a great number! How many days past transfer are you? Do you think there could be more than one in there ;-)

I am so excited! I finally got my BFP!!! Looks like things are looking up for so many of us! We are so excited! I found out a work this morning and could hardly contain myself all day! My beta is 378!!!!! I am praying that all goes well.

Usually when they see a cycst they put you on birth control pills for a month to clear the cyst. But if they have not, I see no harm in trying naturally....the chancs are low when u have a cyst because of the hormonal imbalance causing affect to the ovulation, but hey who knows what plan God has. It also depends on the size of the cyst though.

It is really nice to read so many positive stories about ladies using femara and the injectables..today was my CD3 ultrasound  second month ..first month of femara no follies at all,nothing on clomid either the month before was suppose to start femara today along with 10 days of menopur but Ultrasound found a nice size cyst was tld I would have to wait for next cycle...my question to anyone that has an answere is even though I cannot take any fert. meds this cycle is there anything wrong with TTC anyway..even with cyst???

Heather5-I had absolutely no symptoms...infact I dont have any symptoms even now...no sore boobs, no nausea, no nothing...just period like cramps sometime. So dont lose hope yet. But at the same time, be mentally prepared for a lap...I was **** scared but a lot of girls have gotten it done...it's always better to know what the problem is rather than keep guessing.

Congratulations G_S! I have good news too! It has finally happened after a year and a half. I got my BFP!! We did Letrizole for two cycles and it didn't work for us-got 3 follies the first month, then none. So, RE put me on follisitim with HCG shot and iui and have three BFP's so far. Go in today for my first beta. I am saying a prayer for super sticky babies and a happy healthy nine months for both of us!

Hello all!  Glad to know this community exists! Sounds like some great things are happening on here! Congrats to all with BFPs!

I just went through my first IUI on Saturday after the usual round of Letrozole day3-7.  I just started the 2WW!  Am crossing fingers, toes, eyes...  The Letrozole made me ovulate a few days earlier than my normal, unmedicated cylce, so we did the IUI on CD10, which I thought seemed so early, but apparently I was ready.  The Let. made me a bit moody, actually.  

Did any of you take Letrozole? What were your experiences??

I am soooo happy for you, G_S!!! You certainly deserve it! Hopefully, we'll have more famara ladies following in your footsteps soon!

I wish I had the same luck on my last month before the lap...but my gut feeling tells me I'll be scheduling the surgery in about a week or so. I don't even have sore BBs this month, and I always get sore BBs, so I'm not really too optimistic. Oh, well. Hopefully, they'll actually find something, and fix it, during the lap, so it will improve my chances in the months to come.

How are the rest of you girls doing? Hopeful, any news? We can't wait to see your BFP post!!!

Hey Girls....Thanks and yep I finally did get my BFP after 2.5 years of waiting and that too in a cycle when I was giving my body a break from fertility meds...even though I feel that femara did kick my systems in the alst couple of months and did the magic.

G_S: Did you get a BFP? It kinda sounds like it, based on the above comments! If so...CONGRATULATIONS!!! That would be the most awesome news ever!!!

hopeful: Holy moly...26 eggs!!! How many fertilized, and did you freeze any? That is soooo exciting that your embies looked so good they "only" let you transfer two!!! I'm sending lots and lots of sticky vibes your way :-)

bny: I'm so glad your levels finally came down. I bet you did ovulate already. I did...right after my levels were down below 5. Being on your period while camping with your in-laws might not be that fun...but hey, at least your body's back to normal and you can start trying again :-) Yay!!!

Tina: Good to hear from you! I hope this femara round proves to be a lucky one for both of us!!!

...and yes, I did do another round of femara...but just with timed intercourse. I only had one mature egg this month (and two smaller ones), and I think I ovulated on Friday, so I'm now about 3 dpo and back in the 2WW!

i got my beta back, last thursday it was 8 : )  plus i think i O'd or my body attempted to O (the follies dont' rupture a lot so i will feel the pain, but it won't actually O : (   )   so something was happening down there, Cm was EWCM so feels like my body is getting back to the rythm of things (but as i've said before i'm praying its in a better rythm!! haha!)  the bad thing is our timing! if i O'd this weekend we'll be out in the mountains hiking/camping when AF comes! with in -laws too! so it will make it hard to start the meds for next cycle! ahhhh!   anyhow , keep me updated girls!!! GOOD LUCK to everyone!: )

Hi Ladies! So far so good. We transfered 2 embyo's. I wanted to transfer 3 but they wouldn't based on my age and the quality of the embryo's. I hope that's a good thing. I'm on bedrest now for about another 8 hours. After 36 hours of bedrest I can move around a bit more. I'm supposed to go back to work on Thursday but I might go back Wednesday afternoon.

bny: how are you feeling? did you have another beta yet?

heather: how was the time with the family going? did you guys decide to take a break?

G_S: Glad to have you back! We all missed you!! I know I already said it but let me say it again..........CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! I am so excited for you and you dh! You must be walking on air! Keep us posted on your progress.

I know how is everyone?? i've been working a ton, and finally done mc.. and done with the flu so feeling back to normal for the first time in months and loving it! the idea of getting back on all the shots/meds makes me cringe.. but no time to waste, i understand that!... so i'm just waiting for AF trying not to think about ttc much (ha like thats possible!)  but trying anyways!

Hi ladies! Where is everone! I haven't seen a post in almost a whole week.

Here's an update on me. I had me retrieval today and we have 26 eggs!  We are so excited. Tomorrow we find out how many fertalized. I'm doing ok. I'm in a bit of pain, which I expected and I've been resting all day. I took my 1st progesterone shot today and it wasn't too bad. I hope things keep getting better. I'll keep you guys posted.

as for me i'm still feeling ok. my numbers look great and i have 24 follies. about 12 on each side. my retreival date is still a bit up in the air. i will find out more tomorrow. so far they are about 9 to 10 mm and i am sooo bloated. i'll keep you posted.

heather: have you made any decisions? hope you are having fun with your sis and the fam.
