ectopic...how long to heal?

I had an ectopic pregnancy early this year.  I had 2 rounds of methotrexate, my levels kept rising and my tube ruptured.  I had my cycle for almost 2 mts after (my surgery was March 1st) and now I have a cycle every other week.  No doctor check my levels to see if I evet hit zero again.  I also have some mild to moderate discomfort in the tube the surgery was performed on.  I lost some weight also, without any effort.  I am not sure if this is normal.  We want to try again but I want to be sure all is ok.  Has anyone else out there had this issue?  Please any feedback would mean so much.  Prayers going out to all of you who have been through this.

Thank you so much for responding.  I felt that a second opinion would be good but didnt know if i was over thinking it.  Best of luck to you also.

I had only round of methotrexate and had some complications but not to your extreme, my heart aches for you.  My RE told us that we cannot try again for at least 3 months because we have to wait for the methotrexate to clear out of my system.  It seems to me that your doctor should be doing something more to help you heal.  My RE is closely monitoring me with weeky blood draws and ultrasounds to make sure everything is returning to normal.  You may want to get a second opionon.  Good luck
