Hi Thanks for your reply I am 44 ive had 4 attempts at ivf in 2000-2004 without success but i found another clinic in 2010 which specialises in older women and they discovered it was de to hydrasalpinx in my left tube the toxic fluid prevented implantation so ive sine had tube clipped and drained  the ivf is very expensive so i was thinking of doing the ovarian reserve test first...please let me know about the ovarian test thanks

Can I ask how old your are?

The tests for ovarian reserve can give you a pretty good idea if you have eggs, but cannot tell you much about the quality.  If you are younger than 35, even if you have fewer eggs, you would still have a good chance of getting pregnant with assistance.  If you are 40+ (like me), it's a little more complicated.  If you are over 35, let me know as I have just gone through a bunch of test to predict ovarian reserve.  Best of luck to you !!!

is that AMH test/ if so, the test by itself doesn't predict anything. The result combined with other factors such as your prolactine and FSH levels indicate how fertile we are!
I got pregnant with a low AMH(0.3), and know many women who did as well. Good luck!
