See!!! I just don't get it. My doctors have finally figured out that I am having an implantation issue (they think)... But maybe this time. Yeah, the first three times I was super careful and this time I am still being careful, but doing a little more and to be honest, it is keeping my mind occupied. I am not lifting anything really, but not thinking twice about getting in a car to ride to the in laws to eat. Last time, I would have never done that!! I think stress plays a big part and so I am really trying to chill out!!! LOL :)
chasers - good luck to you!!! the wait is agonizing! Of course, i was taking a HPT 4 days after transfer but i also did everything right - 3 days bed rest etc, etc. i followed everything by the books. I did get pregnant but had unfortunately had a miscarriage just under 8 weeks due to chromosome problems with the baby, BUT, I know another woman that did IVF and did everything wrong. NO bed rest at all, sex the 2nd night after the procedure, jogging a couple days later etc and got pregnant with twins so there is no rhyme or reason to any of this!
This is day two for me now. I am really trying to not think about it b/c it will drive you nuts!! The first three times I was SSSOOOO careful, being on best rest for at least 3 days. All of the doctors in the office say that there is nothing I can do to "not make it work" (of course don't go run a marathon), so I even got out a little last night, went in to Best Buy for about 5 minutes and picked up dinner (well I rode while my hubby got it). It felt good to get out of the house. With my first three IVF cycles, I always got a negative preg test so implantation never occurred. So I figure I will do it different this time :) NO HOME PREG TEST, No getting blood results early from the hospital. I am going to (try) chill out, read books, work, watch TV, and know that it is not in my hands! Please keep me posted, all of you!!! I will pray for a positive test SLinNJ!!! Please let us know, it is nice to go thru this w/ other women. I don't think most people have a CLUE as to what we all just went through!!
Hi Ladies,I am on day 5 of the 2 week wait.Had a failed IUI so decided to do clomid this month without iui so figers crossed.Sending you all my best wishes SSBD xx
i am like you but i had my 5th iui with progestrone pills and asprin pills also ,i did a very ealry test last thursday cant be patient you know that and you going through it the result were pregnant 2 times but when i read that if i took the test so early when iam having hcg enjuction there is possible for a false pregnant result so cant tell you how much i disappointed but still i have hope and faith :)
wish you all the good luck
keep posted
I'm on day 8 of my first IVF. Transfered one Blastocyte - no idea what grade it was. This is the first time in my life (age 41) that I have tried to get pregnant. I'm single and knew I wanted to be a Mom. this is a frozen cycle and I haven't had any idea what to expect. I've had period-like symptoms - back ache and some brownish discharge yesterday. a pimple today. All typical signs for me that my period is coming but from reading other posts it sounds like the back ache and spotting are normal. Just wondering about the pimple? Since you both have gone through this before perhaps you have some insight. I go for my blood test tomorrow.
I wish you both all the best. This is so difficult - I can't imagine the heartache you both have endured. My thoughts are with you both.
Most sincerely-
SLinNJ
I am sending you lots of wishes. I will also be doing my 4th IVF in sept. 2 of the 3 already completed ended in m/c. I hope this last one is my lucky charm....
