I do not have insurance, so cant afford IVF at this time. But whatis the point doing IVF? I am getting pregnant, even on my own, but cant hold it. The problem is that doctors cant find the reason why.

Thank you for yor responses. I saw my dr today because I was feeling some pain on my right side, I got scared that there is something left after miscarriage. Scan showed that everything is fine, no cyst, anything...but follicles on both ovaries, bigger on the right. Dr was surrprised that my body recoverd so quickly, but still we nedd to wait 2 months. He wants to run all possible tests agian on me and now additionally genetic panel on my husband. He thinks that there may be some issues between me and my husbund, so we cant conceive together ( DH has 2 children already). So I do not know what to think... We tryied everything: accupuncture, dhea, royal jelly, wheat grass, baby aspirin, progesterone. One more thing: I was studying full time and working, tests and exams, stress, no time for workout. So now I am graduating in June, no more school and exams. It is time to relax. We are not giving up. Will be back  in the game in 2 months:-)
Thanks for all your support!

Hi.

After my first daughter at 38 I had 3 miscarriages, with 5 IUI attempts.

The drs were asking me to try IVF, but I couldn't see the point as I can get pregnant I just wasn't holding it.  Plus 5 IUIs cost the same as 1 ivf attempt.  I figured it was just a matter of finding the right healthy egg!

Anyway, the 6th IUI I got pregnant again and the baby that resulted is now a very healthy 2 months old.  I am 41.   I had progesterone support for the successful last pregnancy, and was taking vitamin D, and an antioxidant called axathanin, as well as folic acid and prenatal vitamins.

Don't give up too quickly.

Best wishes,

I too had 4 m/c's after running several tests, my dr said it may just be my weight. I joined a gym and started to work out. Then, not long after we decided to try again. As soon as we made that decision I started my prenatal and low dose aspirin. 81mg's once a day. First month TTC I got my BFP and I am now almost 30 weeks.

Probably time to move to IVF. Also good to analyse the root cause for the losses. That helps in finding a better solution. Good luck. I am sure it will work soon. Don't worry!

I'm so sorry to hear of your troubles.  I'm 39 and have had 8 known miscarriages with no live births.  I had so many test ran that I was labeled as unexplained infertility.  They wouldn't even do IVF because I was able to get pregnant but not keep it.   After two years of just not trying, I just found out that I am pregnant.

I'm sorry for your losses, you obviously have no problems falling pregnant, I would consider doing a few cycles of acupuncture (3 months), they will focus on making your uterus baby friendly/ healthy to nourish a growing baby, also maybe look into egg health, and start taking maca, royal jelly and look at dhea as well
