4th cycle in a row with no left follie :(

It is official, this cycle is a bust without even a chance to try.  This is the forth cycle in a row that I have been unable to develop a left side follicle.  I am trying so hard to be patient.  I keep thinking, if I just get one chance it will work.. everything is okay because if I get one chance it will work... but what if it doesn't??... what if it is this hard everytime to even get a chance to try.. this is just the 4th cycle.  What if it is 5 or 6 or 7 before I even get ONE FREAKING CHANCE TO FREAKING TRY!!!!  

i never imagined my luck would be this bad.  :(

And if things weren't bad enough, if my RE won't put me on some birth controll pills to delay next cycle, IUI timing will run right into Thanks giving and of course we aren't going to be in town.  And then the next cycle will probably land on FREAKING CHRISTMAS!!

Oh man! I'm so sorry you're having to go through this month after month! Must be very frustrating...hopefully that means it's your left side's turn next!

Maybe you could try a combination of femara or clomid with injectables. That's what I'm doing. I only take three shots (lowest dose) total, which means I won't get too many follicles.

Good luck to you! Hopefully you'll be able to get a nice big follicle or two on the left next time around!

oh, that's such a bummer ;( I have been wondering how things have been going with your TTC'ng. Maybe you will get lucky and things wont land  on Thanksgiving or Christmas. I just want to get my freakin AF back so I know when I can start trying :)

im sorry your running into some bad luck. I know how you are feeling this is my second month i cant do anything because they found a cist on my left ovary and my dr. wants to stop all treatment until it gets smaller. well 2 months later its still there ... so now all i can do is wait and be very patient..  i wish you luck and just like you reminded me its all worth it !!!!!!!

I'm not sure I understand why your RE is being so "stubborn" did you talk to him?
Actually BCP could be a good idea to suppress you for a bit and get better results.

Oh then bring on the meds!! :-)  If you end up with twins than so be it :-) ha ha.. I will give myself about 4 times trying on our own and if we don't get pregnant again then I will be heading on over to the fertility dr. myself and I'll be begging for the maximum drugs :-)  Yes, we need to go thru preg #2 together!

oh thats such bad news. I have a bad left tube and i totally get where youre coming from. I get what youre saying about the risk of multiples but perhaps you might have to give it a ago on the aggressive approach. Are you on injectables? 4 tries takes a alot of you esp if you know the try is already bust from the get go.

Hey dainsey, we have been trying the less aggressive approach because we wanted to keep our chances of multiples to a minimum.  Since things aren't working out for us that way, we will have to get more aggressive with meds.  Nothing came make me develop a follie on the left, but they can give me meds to make me develop more follies in general so the chance that one/some will be on the left side will be higher but so will the chances of twin or more.  

Glad to see you are trying for #2.  I would love to go through another pg with ya!!

Oh Hannah...I feel bad for you!  We're just starting to try for #2 and I'm ALREADY impatient so I can imagine how frustrating it's getting. Can they do anything to get that left side to produce some follicles or is all by chance?
