August IVF -ers!

I know its a little early but I am looking for some cycle buddies for my August IVF.  This will be IVF #2 for this year.  I turned 40 end of December. My first IVF resulted in twins but stopped growing at 7 weeks.   I have been doing everything I can to prepare my body and mind for the next IVF.  I've shed 30 pounds (so far, and still losing) since the height of my last pregnancy, been doing acupuncture since mid-May, exercising 4 times per week and will start chinese herbs this week.  

So far, I had a clomid challenge test earlier this month and I was a 12.2 and it went down to 7.4!  This is the lowest number I have had in 1.5 years since I started seeing an IVF doctor.  So, I was very excited.  My insurance approved my IVF + assisted hatching so I am all set.  

Would love to hear from some of you about your journey and next procedure.  I took a break from the site for a few weeks because I had nothing much to report but want to get back into the community.  Hope everyone has a great summer and *****baby dust to all****!!!!

I hope your test is true!!! We will keep our fingers and toes crossed for you!  When are you going to test again?  
I'm not sure how long it takes for the meds to get out of your system, but I sure hope 10 days was enough : )

I never got told to wait longer just that I shouldn't believe hpts (because mine said neg) at 11dp3dt but I had bloods that day.  I thought that its all out of your system after 10 days?  But I am totally unsure of the amount you and I had.

I really don't get the tests how can i have a 107 blood test 2 hours after a neg test on first morning urine??(maybe line so faint it could be evap line) It was clearblue so I thought they are all at least 50 mui.

thanks alot for your message. i tested today 11 dp 3dt and was positive!! but when i rang the hospital they said i had to wait until 14 dpet as the hcg stays in your body until then??? i had 5000hcg on sat 4th at 10pm - would it still be in my system today? I tested with an internet cheapie 10mui and line came up quickly , not really dark but fairly dark. Then i tested with clear blue digital 25mui and it came up pregnant 1 - 2 weeks, but this took about a minute to come up.
have been to my own dr today as have been so ill past couple of days with indegestion, bloating, severe nausea , diareah. She said i had gastroenteritis??

What do you think can i believe my positive or not?

Thank you so much for the note, you are soo sweet!  Looks like we will have betas on the same day, heres hoping for the best news for us both.

Yes the steps are soo hard.  I was only edgy towards the end of this 2ww (it wasnt too bad) because I was so busy and as some of the time is taken up with transfer etc so not as bad as a full 2ww from estimated ovulation (and in my case it was always 2.5-3ww because a/f is later for me) and I know that after a pos test it doesn't get easier I will just have new stresses about the betas doubling time, then the ultra sound and heartbeat etc etc

p.s it says you arn't accepting new notes so I didn't send one back (I am new here and to notes though so may be user error lol)

Thanks for the info.  Beta is on the 23rd.  Days go by so slow that sometimes I think Im going crazy.  Ive been very tired and sleepy latetly but again you know progesterone does that to you too.  So many steps till we can actually relax and enjoy huh?

for now you have achived a mile stone.  Please know Im praying for you and please do the same for me.

Thanks but congratulations seems so scarey as there are so many steps for me ahead before I can accept that!

The boob thing is hard, sore sometimes not today unless I press em to find out.  I have had other unsucessful cycles with clomid where they were sore as and it meant nothing!  The a/f feeling has been happening a lot.  At the start of the week it was comforting.  Then for the last few days it was like a ick feeling in there like I had over stretched (i really didn't like it and was worried). My last pregnancies I had the a/f feeling a lot too, enough to fool me one time that she was def on her way.  Yesterday when I got up off the couch I had a dizzy spell, but that could be from the progestorone I am taking..so hard to tell with symptoms.  They drive you crazy. I was super hungry yesterday too, but again could be something else I think nerves from the results coming up.  I have had lots of feelings in my left and right ovary area too, maybe just from follies going down but feel specific.

Whens your beta?  Best of luck! Hope the feeling is a great sign for you
