August IVF -ers!

I know its a little early but I am looking for some cycle buddies for my August IVF.  This will be IVF #2 for this year.  I turned 40 end of December. My first IVF resulted in twins but stopped growing at 7 weeks.   I have been doing everything I can to prepare my body and mind for the next IVF.  I've shed 30 pounds (so far, and still losing) since the height of my last pregnancy, been doing acupuncture since mid-May, exercising 4 times per week and will start chinese herbs this week.

So far, I had a clomid challenge test earlier this month and I was a 12.2 and it went down to 7.4!  This is the lowest number I have had in 1.5 years since I started seeing an IVF doctor.  So, I was very excited.  My insurance approved my IVF + assisted hatching so I am all set.

Would love to hear from some of you about your journey and next procedure.  I took a break from the site for a few weeks because I had nothing much to report but want to get back into the community.  Hope everyone has a great summer and *****baby dust to all****!!!!

bp87 - Congratulations.  What wonderful news!  I hope everything goes smoothly and that you have a beautiful, healthy baby.

mhv - I will be praying for you so much over the next week and fingers, toes and everything else crossed for your lining and little embies making it to blast.

Purple - I'm glad you had a good follow-up appointment.  Hoping all goes well this November and December so you can get a lovely New Year's gift.

As for me, we have our first ultrasound on Tuesday.  We should be at 7 weeks or 7wks 1 day by then depending upon the trackers I've been looking at.  If all looks good, we get released from the RE and then start with an OBGYN.  Please pray that all looks ok and that we see the heartbeat.

Take care ladies.

I have been away from this forum for over a week now and so many things have happened and to have seen more positive results is really encouraging. Congratulations to nakineen, anne03 and bp87!

sisi2399: I am really sorry to read about your negative result. With your positive spirit and your constant support I so have wished for a positive outcome. I wish you all the best for your next try and really hope that all goes well with your third IVF.

CL74: To lose a baby is so sad. I hope you can be strong for your other two babys.

mhv: Oh that is great news! I am so happy for you that you have finally got a date for your transfer. I hope that the thawing process goes well for all your embryos and that all 7 of them do well and reach blastocyst stage!

As for me, we had our follow up at the clinic last Wednesday. We have asked so many questions and most of the answers have been satisfying some even encouraging. So we have made up our minds and we will try again hopefully this year. We've decided against back to back IVF treatment so if AF is not too late in either October or November we will start Gonal F injections once November AF shows. The clinic said as long as we start stimulations by 1st December we can do it again this year (they close over Christmas). The only thing is, that with egg collection and embryo transfer going well into December, we will miss my mother in law's 80th birthday as she doesn't live in England.

My thoughts are with you all.

Well, we are well into September now, almost the end.   This has been a wonderful forum which so much support offered!  We have had many success stories and some not so great, but we have had each other to share everything with!  Thanks Ladies!!!!

As for me, I went for my scan yesterday, and my lining is up to 7.8mm.  : ) There is still a little bit of fluid in my uterus, but he is hoping the progesterone will take care of it.

So, we are going to move forward with thawing my 7 remaining embryos out and trying to get them to blast (they were frozen on day 2).  If any make it, we will be doing a transfer next Wednesday.
If you have time, and any spare prayers, Please pray for my embryos and my lining to be perfect next week.  I am very nervous, as this has been a long process (transfer was suppose to be on Sept 8th) and I am afraid that there have just been to many obstacles this time.  I am going to remain postive and put it in Gods hands.

CL74- I am so sorry to hear about your 3rd, but pray that they other 2 will be perfect in every way!!!!

bp87- Congratulations on your BFP!!!! The #'s sound good to me!  I am sure everything will turn out perfectly this time!  We are praying for you!!!!!  Please keep us updated!  I wish you would have jumped in sooner... we would have given you much support!!
