Heather,
Thank you so much, i just hope that my symptoms are not misleading, and i wish you all the best.
Its so emotional.
Thank you..
Anya- good luck!!
Anya: My two miscarriages were actually very different. The first one was a missed abortion (where the baby just stops developing, but the body does not miscarry it). When I went in for an u/s at 8 1/2 weeks, they found no heartbeat and realized the baby had stopped growing at 8 weeks. So for the first one I had to have a D&C procedure to remove the tissue. The second one was a spontaneous miscarriage at home. I started spotting for a couple of days, then cramping, and then I miscarried on my own at 6.5 weeks. I hope you never have to experience a miscarriage. It's very emotionally draining, especially when you want a baby sooo bad; but many of us on this forum have experienced it, and it really helps to know we're not alone.
laka: I hope this is our month too!!! Your symptoms sound promising. Best of luck testing in Monday!
Anya,
I just read your train between you and Heather, and just want to say that i am in the same boat as you are.
I had my first IUI on the 3rd, with only 1 follicle 19mm, and i am going to test for pregnancy on the 17th. It has been so hard, until i found this site, and read success stories.
I hope this is it for you and that you get pregnant and Heather and me.
I did have symptoms because of the progesterone that i have to take 2 times a day maybe. Nausea, moody, some abdomen pain, but i am better today day 12, so dont know if thats normal or not, or why my symptoms went away.
But praying that this is it, its so emotional and hard to go through 2ww.
Good luck and keep me posted please...
Thank you so much, you are giving me hope :)!!!!!!!
Im sorry that you had two m/c, can you tell me how you found out, what symptoms you had and how did they take it out? Im wondering so if that (god forbids!!), happens to me, at least I can mentally prepare myself....
THANKS!
Anytime, Anya ;-)
I'm just doing everything "au natural" this cycle. No meds, no IUI...just timed intercourse. My breasts are a little more tender today, but that's about it! I'm not sure if I've already told you this, but I've been pregnant twice (unfortunately lost both between 6.5 and 8 weeks), but both times, I had very sore breasts and mild, dull cramping about 4-5 days before my expected AF date...so I kinda know how my body reacts when I get pregnant, and I'm hoping that I'll start to experience some of those symptoms next week!!! Although, the say every pregnancy is different, so I guess the symptoms might be different next time.
One thing, though, it can take your body a little while to "react" to implantation, so even if you experience implantation at let's say 7 or 8 dpo (the most common implantation days), you might not notice any symptoms until later. Some women notice it right away, while other don't notice anything until a few weeks after. So don't give up hope if you don't get any symptoms next week. There could still be a little bean in there :-)
Best of luck to you too, and keep us posted!
Heather,
Thank you very much for explaining to me how it works!!
Now I know that I should start look for symptoms starting 5 dpIUI and not earlier...
How about you? Do you have any symptoms? Which IUI cycle is that for you?
Mine is the first one and oh God I wish it would work!
Good luck to you!
