Clomid 150, Ovedril and IUI

Hi there,
For this cycle, I took 150 Clomid and developed one mature follicle. Then last night I had a trigger shot  with Ovedril and today went on PCT test to see if sperm is moving in the right direction. Apperantly, the sperm is dead. I asked my RE why, and he said that clomid can give such negative effect but that by doing IUI tomorrow, they can bypass that problem.
Did anyone have the same problem? Taking clomid which then kills the sperm?
So weird...
Thanks!

Hi Anya! I'm doing good. Thanks for asking. I'm 7 dpo today and have some mildly tender BBs, but that's about it. I always get that, though, so I don't really think that means much :-)

I wouldn't worry about not having any symptoms yet. It's too early for that. Your body will not produce pregnancy symptoms until after a possible egg implants. A fertilized egg is pretty much on it's own until it implants (usually between 5 and 11 dpo), and your body doesn't really know whether the egg was fertilized or not until then. Once implantation occurs and the egg hooks up to your blood stream, that's when your HCG starts climbing and you begin to notice pregnancy symptoms. Although, some women won't have any signs, other than a positive pregnancy test, until they're weeks into their pregnancy. So it really varies a lot from woman to woman.

I hope you get your BFP this month!!!

Yeah, I guess it doesn't matter anymore, I just had an IUI done and they bypassed that problem. Now my 2ww starts and I am praying for a baby!!!!!!! God Help ME!

Yeah, that is a bit confusing. You would think that if your doctor said your mucus looked good, that means you do have fertile-quality cervical mucus. Could you maybe call your doctor and ask what his theory is?

Hi Heather,
Thanks for the input, I really hope that IUI will do the trick for me and I get preggo! If not, then I will by pre-seed...I still don't understand, my RE said today that my CM is good but sperm is not moving....if Clomid makes CM hostile, then it will not be good, right?
