IVF failed

Hi All,
I would appreciate if someone can help me on this.  doctors are not intrested just saying you will feel like this for while.
I had my first IVF treatment last month. did prenancy test on 15 July. It was negative.  Had my period on 17 July which was unusually painful thorugh out 3 days.  Now since 20th of July i am feeling extremely tired, fatiq, got occassional overy pain and my body tempretuer is very very hot.  My symptoms are same as the two weeks i was waiting to see if i am pregnent.  my legs are hurting, lower back pain i feel like i am going to have another period..
nurse said it is normal as my body is getting back to normal.. i dont think tht is the casse.

Has anyone else had the same experince. please help.

Thanks Guys for your responds, but i have only done one cycle of ivf which the results were negative, 3 days later after i did the test i got my period.  i am not doing another cycle yet.  but my body feels like as if i am on the 2nd cycle.  Would it be possible that my hormones are wack??  my gut feeling says i could be pregnent, but i am do scard to do another test incase it is negative again.  I suppose i wait couple of weeks and see what happens. Hopfully by then the hormons will be out of my body.

My friend has similar symptoms like that & the Dr told her same thing.  Our hormones are out of wack ... hang in there.  It will happen..maybe next cycle Good Luck!!

This does sound normal, or at least, similar to my experience.

My body was always out of whack in the cycle following an IVF cycle. it's the reason why you shouldn't do one cycle on top of the next. I never started the next cycle until I'd had a second period to "reset" my clock.

Worked for us... I'm now 12 weeks along! Best of luck to you x
