Due anytime Summer 2012

mhv
Hi ladies.  I know it's kind of early for me, being only 7wks 5days along, to start this, but I wanted to start sharing this journey with others due around the same time as me.

I know many of us (me included) are afraid to put ourselves out there this early, afraid that something might go wrong, but I have known so many of you for you long, that I just couldn't wait any longer to start sharing experiences with you.  I have never been this far along in a pregnancy, and am so sure I am going to have tons of questions.

I am expecting twins, and am still in shock! :)  We have a due date of Aug 9th, but It will probably be more like July 26th, due to it being twins
I feel pretty good most of the time,  but if I don't eat every 2-3 hrs, the babies let me know it!

Just wondering how everyone else is feeling, and wondering if anyone else has questions we can help each other with....

Hugs!!!

I know everytime I snap pics or take a vid if they see the camera they freeze lol. But maks will usually start to make faces. I have vid of Aleks though on Facebook arguing with me as I kept telling him it was bedtime. It was 10:30pm. Also last night my boys slept from 10:30p till 7:30am no night feeding. But I'm not sure if its a fluke as they are both a little sick so that could be why

Juana- I sure hope you feel better soon!! It bites you have to deal with this!

Drake started laughing when you tickle under his arms and on this collarbone the day after thanksgiving.  It was the best sound in the whole world!!!  I tried to record it, but everytime I turned on the recorder, he stopped!!!  Figures, huh????

Our babies are changing and growing every day!!!  Amazing isn't it?!?!

It stinks but Im glad to see my boys are not the only crabby ones! Makes me feel so much better! They are a bit more crabby right now as they have a little cold.

Juana~ sorry to see your in pain. I hope it eases so. It must be so hard to deal with that when you have to take care of Jacob.

Yesterday I was bending over Aleks and tickling him with my hair and he was laughing!! Its the first time he actually laughed more then once! It was so great and I got it on video!! Both boys lift their legs and grab at their knees so they end up pulling up their pants lol..Almost can get to their feet hahaha

I am happy to see that everybody is checking in :-)
Jacob is doing fine and he is being a good boy so far. He goes to sleep around 9-10 pm and sleeps until about 7. He's always happy in the morning but as day passes by he gets a little crabbier, especially around 7-8 pm.
He likes to be a center of attention and wants to be entertained all the time - he gets bored pretty easily.
He's trying to sit up on his own recently and talks more and more lol - his newest word is "hey" :-)
I am not so well, though - I am of course happiest mom in the world, but my back and leg is still killing me. I was finally diagnosed with spinal stenosis and after going from one doctor to another, after getting steroid injection in the spine I finally started physical therapy, but it's not helping so far. I am seeing neurosurgeon on Wednesday to discuss my options. I want to be fit and healthy before Jacob will start walking..

I am also excited as most of you to spend this coming Christmas as complete family for the first time :-)

Sending lots of hugs!

I'm exactly the same. My babies want so much attention and want to be held all day long. My babies are usually crabby most of the time though which is sad an I don't know why. There are only short periods of time where they play and are happy and otherwise want to be held 24 7, and like you said I'm only one person with two arms. Also I have noticed my babies get real jealous from one another because if I'm carrying one the other one will give me a death stare and cry to be held.  Lol. So I know exactly what you are saying and it definitely is more intense as there are two. We will all get there though. :) xo

My kids could care less about toys anywhere....not that advanced yet.  I am not worried, I figure they will catch up someday :).
