Found my TTC Friends #5

Hi ladies,
I thought I would take tori's lead and start a new thread.  I hope this bright sunny V-Day finds you all in lovely spirits and lovely moods.

ad_06 - I've heard gas is a symptom! This just may be it!

Jen - I'm so sorry you got a BFN.  The are so disappointing and frustrating.  But look at it this way: Now you can have a sip of wine and enjoy a night of love without purpose!  You and your Dh can, smile, eat, dance and love away the night without thinking about love as BD'ing.  I know you were really hoping BFP would be a Valentine gift and you must feel so let down.  But you ovulated without problems, your luteal phase was a great length, don't get discouraged - you just have another month ahead of you and it will work out.  p.s. read the old thread, I think torismommy made some good suggestions to you regarding HSG.

Torismommy - It sounds like you and your Dh got it all planned. I will most definitely keep my fingers crossed that you ovulate soon.  It really does suck not too.  I had a Dr. friend look at  my charts and he said that I might not be ovulating even though I'm getting my period b/c certain things aren't matching up well. I envy you your dh, at this point mine is lovely and can talk about the stuff but he is really leary about medications and procedures.  He wants it to be all natural.  And from the looks of things, it ain't gonna happen that way.  I think you are right, you've been on clomid once before and know what to expect.  That alone might help you control the side effects.  Do you do yoga or anything of the like?  I'm too lazy lately but that seriously helps me curb moods.

Ashort - The progesterone must be interesting!  I think I'm totally wrong about twins regarding HCG.  Your numbers look like they are right on track for baby (girl?)

How is everyone else doing?  I forget who else posted now and I can't look back! Agh.  take care and Happy Valentines Day to all!

Ashleigh- At least you think you covered all the bases!! So, when exactly are you going to test? At 14 dpo? I would!! Do you have any symptoms like cramping or sore bbs??

Tomorrow I get my internet on ladies! I am so excited. I have been using my laptop at the college to talk to you guys! LOL.

Jen- I am so glad that you ovulated. How do you feel about your BD'ing? When are you going to test?? I can't wait!

So, it has been quiet on here lately. I logged on today expecting to get a whole bunch of stuff to read, but it hasn't been bad. LOL. So, how is everyone doing? I only have like 2 more months left of class then I am taking fall semester off because that is when the baby is due! So, I get a break in a way... but not really. LOL.

wannabe - I used answer. I think my eyes are the problem not the sticks. I had never used OPK's before so I think that I just didn't know what to expect and didn't know what an absolute positive was. But now I know. Im just really confused ab out my cycles because before I had my daughter I had 31 day cycles and then after her birth my cycles were 40-45 days and then after my laproscopy my cycles were 31 days on time everytime and now they are 40-45 days again. I guess maybe it just took my body a while to get adjusted back.  I thought that the surgery had just knocked my cycles back to my old normal not post-partum normal. Who knows, my body is crazy!!!

Hi Everyone!

Wananbamommy - I am sure your ultrasound is going to be perfect! It will be so exciting to see how your baby has grown.  I love those sleigh cribs too! They are gorgeous.

ashleigh - That would make sense - if you ovulated later. So frustrating though. You probably already know this but just in case: Your luteal phase is how many days post ovulation you were. So if you were 14dpo last month before AF. Then your luteal phase was 14days last month. And usually it's quite steady month to month which would make sense if you ovulated later this month.  My temps are erratic too. That doesn't really matter.  Do you use fertility friend or some sort of software program to chart your temps?  They have some problems but they are really helpful in determining your baseline.  They will also see if your cm, temps, and opk all match up and then you can get a more accurate picture of your cycle.  For example, it would be really weird to get a positive opk with no temp rise and/or cm.  Here's my page: scroll down and you can see how erratic my last month's temps were: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/1dfeff  Good luck!  No matter what, it will be nice to take some time to enjoy bd'ing without all the stress of the matter, to just to enjoy and love your guy before you get married.

how is everyone?
