HELP IUI question - all feedback welcomed

Hi all, I am new to this community so let me introduce myself. I am 27, DH is 27, we are unable to conceive naturally after 3 years of trying (hubby doesn't produce germ cells) we decided to go with a donor. I have had 3 MC before DH and my HSG revealed a blocked fallopian tube (right). Currently using the clearblue easy fertility monitor. I had my first IUI on my second cycle of clomid 50mg on the 19th and am currently 4dpiui. The first cycle did not give me an egg symbol. My cycle averages between 32-34 days and I O really late (day20).

The weird thing is two days after I felt a pulling/sticking sensation in my lower abd as if someone was sticking me with a needle. It was very uncomfortable, and stopped on yesterday. I have never had that feeling before...EVER now I am cramping slightly, frequent urination, some light-headed feeling and bloated. I am wondering if this will give me my BFP. What do ya'll think? I can test on the 1st since AF is due on the 30th. Has anyone ever experienced this? Don't wanna get my hopes up but this is weird and I need answers.

You're right the tww is definitely torture! I'm confident that you will be ready for the IUI! BABYDUST to you definitely! I'm trying to force myself to wait until this Sunday to test but I am off this weekend so I may do it sooner lol. Keep me posted on how everything is going for you. I read your other post and we have a lot in common, its good to be able to  talk to someone who is experiencing the same thing. Great support system!!

Thanks so much for not taking that the wrong way. I just don't want to bring someone down from being happy especially when this whole process is so draining and exhausting. I go back to the doctor on Friday to see if I'm ready for the IUI. If not, then they'll probably have me take a trigger shot and come back in on Monday... so I'm hoping it's Friday. I think this whole tww thing is torture. Now, this time around it's going to be really hard for me to be positive because last time I could sworn that I was going to get a BFP! Oh well. You're on day 8 right? So, you're halfway there, hang in there. :)

Hi Nat,

Of course I wouldn't think that you would be raining on the parade, that is why I posted here so someone could give me the reality check that I need. I know how easy it is for us to convince ourselves of something we want so badly as I have done that before. These things I have never felt so I wanted to compare with someone else. I hope you get your BFP soon!!! I will definitely keep you updated on how things are going! Thanks for the words of warning and encouragement!

Good luck to you. I certainly hope that you are pregnant. I don't say this to burst your bubble and I do hope that you are pregnant. The last thing I want to be is a kill joy. I just wanted to let you know that I too had a pulling sensation and a weird poking sensation in my abdomen and I turned out with a BFN on my test. Like I said I'm not trying to rain on your parade and I certainly do hope that you are pregnant but when I got that no I really wasn't prepared for it because I had convinced myself that I was so it was like a cold hard slap in the face. I have no idea what the pulling sensation and poking were about but I am planning on asking when I go back to the doctor this Friday. I didn't get a chance to ask the last time I spoke with the nurse on the phone and I do want to find out what's going on there. As for all of my nausea, dizziness, etc. turned out I had a sinus infection going on at the same time. I really do hope that you are pregnant but I just would hate for you to convince yourself that you are and then feel as miserable as I did. I had a full blown mini-crisis and cried off and on for three solid days! I'm hoping second times the charm for me. I hope you are definitely pregnant but I just wanted to give you a word a warning because I would wish the kind of grief that I felt after hearing that I had a negative on anyone. I think that if I would have prepared myself better I could have avoided at least some of this. Good Luck!!!!!!!!!

Thanks same to you for luck. I am now 7dpiui and the cramping has subsided some. This am I got the metallic taste in my mouth while eating my MIL's banana bread and its great, couldn't eat another bite though! eek On Monday night, I had a spell at night where my nips and areolas felt like they were on fire! It felt as if someone was pinching the nips and twisting them, it was horrible....my DH asked if he could put ice on them HAHAHAHAHAHA I told him of course that would not work lolol. Hope I never feel that again!

No I didn't use a HCG trigger. I ovulate on my own normally but my ob/gyn didn't like that I O so late in the cycle (day 17 - 20) but it has always been like that. Even while on the clomid lol. So I'm 5dpiui today and all day yesterday I cramped and had excess CM, this morning is kinda quiet with a few cramps here and there. Bought a box of HPT's yesterday and wanna take one so bad. Hubby say the boobies look larger but they're huge anyway! lol Been having weird dreams and went on a seasoned salt binge yesterday!! Everything had to have seasoned salt on it lol, but I took in just as much water as I did salt.

I had cramping after IUI for a while, however I think it is stll too early to test, It takes 6-12 days after ovulation before implantation occure. I hope you get your BFP this cycle.
