HELP! low count

Hi, so i went to my OB today and he said based on the fact that my last period was april 9 i should be 7 weeks.  But he said my count was only 738 which would put me at 3 weeks.  So he is going to do another blood test and he said the number should have gone up and if it hasn't then i will most likely miscarry.  But i told him that the Dr did a progestrone test at the end of april and it showed that i hadn't ovulated yet, i also told him that i must have ovulated after the blood test which would be the first week of may which would put me at 3 weeks now.  Im so scared what do you guys think?

I thought about this a little more.  My last period was April 29.  They say you are pregnant based on your last menstrual cycle.  I was 4 weeks yesterday.  Even if you ovulated the first week of May, you would be considered at the least 5 weeks pregnant.  They include the first 2 weeks BEFORE you ovulate in their calculation.  So, if he is going by your lmp, you would be 7 weeks today.  If you ovulated late like you say, you would be no less than 5 weeks.  You would not be considered 3 weeks preggo, because that is when you say you ovulated.  I really don't know what the #s are supposed to be, however, it sounds like you are definitely pregnant.  They will have to do an u/s to get the better idea of how far along you are.

at 16 or 17days past iui which would have made me about 4wks i was at 400 and they said it was excellent

I agree, i don't know anyone who had a number of 738 at only 3 weeks!!!  Sunds like you have a BFP to me! : )

My beta just read 520 yesterday and I am 4 weeks.  They said my numbers are excellent.  I don't think a 738 is supposed to be 3 weeks.
