RE: Pre-seed...
It's actually made to mimic CM.  I found it at an acupuncturist.  They often recommend it with Clomid because of how Clomid dries u up.  There's info on it online.  Hope that helps.

Sorry that i have not updated you  guys in a couple of days.
I am glad to see that someone said pre seed is awesome cause i just
got done with the doc for my yearly and he said he hasn't heard of that
and that sperm just like mucus not lube, but i tried not get myself all worked since
he has never heard of it. He told me that i ovulated he could feel that i oed out of my right
side, so i don't even have to get my progesterone checked this month. But if we are not preggo this month then he wants to back my clomid down to 50 since im oing but doesn't like that i don't have any cm.
Is any dpo that i have down as cd I will change it if you are.

Sorry I haven't kept u guys updated lately.

Yeah...nothing exciting yet.  6 dpo now.  Still au naturelle for now.  Went to R/E to discuss options and we're looking at Clomid, IUI w/trigger shot next.

My DP is going to be out of town when I O next month (can't change the schedule, OMG I hate missing a month).  So if no BFP this month we'll prob do IUI w/Clomid for mid-March cycle.

HeathJo: LOL! I read about your DH's mishap. Too funny, and I'm sure something that could have easily happened to any of our DHs :-) I think I'll go an pick up a bottle of plain Robitussin today. Thanks for the advice! I'm actually a little worried because we used one of the three pre-seeds last night, but since I'm not sure when I'll ovulate I'm afraid we might run out before O. I thought I only used two last month and had four left, but I guess there were only three left... Arrrgh! I should have ordered more! If it takes a while before I get my surge, I might have to go on their website and hunt down one of the few pharmacies that sell them.

Rxy: You know what? If you go in the day AFTER you get an almost as dark line, you might be right on. I thought you meant you went in that same day. I did three IUIs last year, and would always come in the same morning I got my surge (and the morning after...they did two). But you could always do another couple of days of OPKs this month anyway...just to see when you get the actual surge. Oh, and the trigger shot will induce ovulation (it acts as your natural LH surge), so you could always ask your doctor about that. With a trigger, it might be easier to time the IUI. Let us know what happens!

Heather5 I actually have never continued testing after... I go in and they say I have mature follicles (last time there was 5) so they seem to think it's the right time but the more I think about the more I wonder if they really are ready?!?  This time I'll keep testing even after just to see even though this will probably be my last shot at IUI!  I don't know how much more we can afford!  I actually get a very light line one day and then the next it's a little darker sometimes almost but not quite as dark as the control line... so then I go in the next day... kind of confusing I always stress at this time of the month lol

Stilltrying just curious =)  what does the trigger shot do?  my Re never even mentioned it to me!  I wonder if it would help me at all...

Stilltrying101--CD14 does indeed seem a bit late! The common protocol I have read on this forum and myself experienced is to come in on cd12. Now, while I was on Clomid, I was usually not ready until cd16 for the trigger, but everyone is different, and I wouldn't take the chance of missing out. I would BDD every other day until then, as you planned.

Regarding Clomid I had all the AF symptoms (severe cramping, swollen and sore breasts, hot flashes, lack of cm.) When it came down to the 2ww, it only got worse. It was so confusing b/c I almost felt the symptoms were so svere and odd that I was pg. In the end, with producing only 1 follie, it was not worth it excpet that it regulated me.

tea_berries--Thanks for the education--I learn something new here everyday! I had no idea spotting during O could occur. Thanks for the info, buddy!

Heather5--Many recommend using Guafenisen (a mucus creating medecine used to clear up chest congestion, like Mucinex) because it creates great CM. I would search this forum and see what you can find out. Also, PreSeed, which you are already using is awesome, as it creates an almost identical environment in the cervix as CM, and does not affect the sperm negatively. Thanks for asking about my IUI. I did not get an u/s right before, but the nurse said she saw tons of EWCM. Had a bit of a mishap on the dh side--read "My DH missed the sample cup" post I just posted for more info. . .

rxyrxx--I had the bad hot flashes on Clomid as well. I would get all flushed, and feel like my body was emitting steam! I hated it!! Cool cloths on my forehead helped.
Good Luck with charting on fertilityfriend!!!
