StillTrying: I'm not sure if that will be too late. I guess you could do OPKs just in case :-) As for BDing every other day, I think that's probably a good idea, unless your doctor says otherwise. Sorry I couldn't be more help...

Rxy: I always get a gradual surge. It starts out faint and gets gradually darker until I get my actual surge. And it usually takes several days, so in my case, it would be too early to come in when I first see a line. But everyone's different, so it might work for you. Have you ever continued using OPKs after you go in to see when you get the "as dark as or darker than the control" line? Also, if do start charting, it should give you a pretty good idea of when you ovulate compared to when you get your first (light) OPK line.

Hey,
My doc didn't say anything about OPK''s. They just said to come in on the 11th for US and trigger shot. But I'm afraid that might be too late.
Today is CD9, so Monday will be CD14, doesn't that seem kind of late??

I think I'm just gonna start BD'ing every other day starting tonight to be safe, maybe?
Or should I just save up husbads energy?!

Thanks for the recommendation on the OPK'S!  Those are what I started with and seem to be what people like best!  =)  I just worry because my RE says that we need to call even if the line is lighter than the control line so every time I go in I see a second line just never as dark as the control line...so it makes me wonder if I'm going in to early?  Any thoughts?

I am going to fertilityfriend right now to see what I can learn about charting... maybe I'll give it a try this month =)

As for side effects this month it just seems like the hot flashes are my big thing....no cramping though...

Good luck this month Helen!  i wish i was about to start my 2WW!

Wohooo, Helen! Good luck!!! I haven't had any side effects really...except maybe a tad bit of cramping, but I might just be over-analyzing things :-) I am a bit worried about the lack of EWCM, though, but since I don't know when I'll be ovulating, I also don't know when to expect the CM to change. I soooo hope I'm not one of the women who get hostile CM on clomid. At least I have three pre-seed tubes left from last month that I can use :-)

StillTrying: I've heard several on here say they get the cramps on clomid, so I think that's normal. Hey, just curious, though, did you doctor say anything about using OPKs? The reason I'm asking is because if they'll be doing the trigger, then that will be done before you get your natural LH surge. And if so, you won't need to do OPKs :-)

Best of luck to everyone!

Hello Ladies,

Everyone getting ready to BD!!??

As I menioned before i finished Clomid yesterday, I have been so Crampy it's not even funny. Seriously it feels like  I have done three hours of sit ups (and I assure you I haven't!!), it's like the muscle is achey.
Anyone else have the same symptoms with Clomid, or am I just crazy?

Heather, thanks for the OPK recomendation. Think I'm gonna go buy one tonight and I mine as well start tonight or tomorrow.

It's cd14 for me and I got my surge this morning.   I am almost in 2ww!

How are you doing?  Many ladies on this forum complain about side effects of clomid such as mood swings, hot flashes, etc.   I hope it's not the case for you.
