Let's keep our thread rollin, Cycle Buddies!!! # 6. new posting

Good morning, ladies & Happy Wednesday ! :)  Thought it was time for a new thread.  Hopefully we can get back to posting more often, like we used to when we started this thread so long ago! :)

I'm cd15 & still waiting for my +opk, then I'll have my doctor's appt the next morning.  I discovered something pretty interesting when looking through my bbt charts for the past 5 months.  I fluctuate each month by getting my first + on cd13, then cd15, then cd13, then cd15, etc.  Last month I got my first + on cd13, so if I get it today, that will be too funny! :)

Have a great day !!!

Here is vortex's latest update:
Leighanne:  BFP - 19 weeks
vortex: BFP - 10 weeks and next u/s is only on 12/2
Michelle: BFP
Jessie:  CD5
MamaTina: CD5
Stacey: CD10
arlotheslug: CD14
mommyin09:  CD15
Candie: CD28/11dpo?

Hope everyone has a good day.  Lots of activity in between today and tomorrow!

mommyin09 - Thanks for updating our tracking list.  In case I don't talk to you again, good luck with your progesterone test tomorrow.  Do you usually get your results the same day?

luvkayln - Oh my goodness!  That is crazy.  I would definitely be calling my doctor too.  Let us know what he says.

Arlotheslug - Wow, I can't believe you'll be finding out about the birthmom soon.  With your IVF starting next month, maybe you'll be on your way to more than one baby!

icierain - Good luck with your u/s today.  I hope you get to see some nice big follies!

naf38 - How are you, any updates?

leighanne - That is such an awful situation.  It just breaks your heart when you realize that people treat their children with such carelessness and selfishness.  I hope your family is able to intervene and get this straightened out.

Jessie - I agree with mommyin09, the progesterone check should be done appx 7 days after you O.  Clomid should help your cycle along and give you higher prog levels.  If it doesn't seem to be working for you though, you could always ask about Femara.  Are they doing u/s on you at all?

Keyan - So you can have high prog levels with LUFS too?  That's interesting.  I guess the only way you would know then would be to have a follow up u/s.  My doctor would think I was crazy if I asked for that.  It was enough of a struggle to get her to let me have an u/s to check my follies.

Well, as for me, I'm just hanging out waiting to O.  Should be this weekend, or early next week.  We've been having a good week, our new kitchen is finally coming together.  My dishwasher went in last night (oh, how I've missed it!) and DH should have all the cabinets in tomorrow evening.  Yay!  Now I can start putting my things away and stop living out of boxes!

Good morning ladies!

Still no af... and it's CD 43! This is insane! I took a test this morning, no suprise...bfn. I'm about to call my RE. They said is af still hadn't shown by today, then to call and give them the results of my hpt. I know i definately ovulated, so what the hell is going on! I'm getting so darn frustrated, it's not even funny! I feel cheated. I'm missing out on time, i should already be done with my period and getting ready to ovulate!!!!

Arlotheslug:  Wow, that is so exciting! :) I can only imagine you'd be nervous in meeting the birthmom, but I'm sure you'll do fine !  Let us know if you hear anything :)

Jessie:  Yeah, I guess the 17th would be about a week after you O, huh?  That's usually when they do bloodwork to check progesterone.  Once you confirm O, maybe you could change the appt if you need to, or ask your doc's office what their preference is 'cause each time I've done it, it's been approx 7 days after O.

leighanne:  I can only imagine the stress involved with your cousin's situation!  Good luck in keeping the baby either with you/your family or someplace else that's safe.  I didn't realize you were due in Feb!!!  That is SO soon !!! :-)

Icierain1:  Can't wait to hear how your u/s goes! :)  What dpo are you, so we can add you to our list?

naf:  Good luck with your results today!  Maybe after today, we'll know what dpo you are :)

Just FYI:  The thread is getting long once again.  It's not really busy over the weekend, so I think I'll start a new thread on Monday.  Keep a look-out :)

vortex:  I know you're busy, so tried to update your list :)  Hope you're doing well & I hope I got it right ! :)

Leighanne:  I am sorry you have to deal with all of that.  I think since you have been taking care of the baby, there is a strong incentive to keep it with you.  Are there organizations about intrafamilial adoptions in your area?  You probably know this, but you may also want to call social services and being a pest - making a record that you are and have been very interested in guardianship for the child.  Maybe try and reach out to the baby's father too - to see the baby.  (this could be important in terms of guardianship)  Good luck!  I will be keeping you in my thoughts.

Kenyan:  I can completely understand being nervous - it is scary - but I agree with Mommyin09.  Keep us posted.

Jessie:  I am sorry, I am not sure what the Dr. would do.  Have you talked with them and asked about your options.  (I guess you can tell I ask my Drs. a ton of questions!)

Icieran:  Good luck today!  It is sooooo exciting to see the follies!  It only takes one . . .

mamatina:  Good luck tomorrow.  The BCP's make sense . . .

Stacey:  I hope you are feeling better.  I am fighting a cold too and completely know how it is.

Candie:  The pictures are awesome!

I hope everyone is doing well and I send my karma.  We should heare something over the next few days, if the birthmother has chosen us . . . I am scared a bit about the interactions with the birthmom, but soooo excited about the possibility of a baby in DH and my life.  We shall see.

Happy Thursday!

hey ladies, sorry i have not checked in the past 2 days.  craziness in my world.  i had a drug addict cousin who has an 11 month old.  someone called DSS on her and of course she blamed her family, which we should have called but didn;t.  she impulsively signed over guardianship of the baby to the baby's father's mother who is a raging alcoholic that raised 2 drug addicts herself.  when since the day the baby was born, we have been taking care of her.  so it has been very stressful and we do not knowmany more routes anymore.  my mother knows a friend who works for DSS that she is going to talk to today to see if we can petition the guardianship.

besides that, i feel good.  all seems well with the baby, my next checkup appt is 10/20.

how are all you laides doing today?

Mommyin09: I go on the 17th to check progesterone levels.  I think they were hoping they would go up on their own with take Clomid.  I will see then I guess. If they dont go up any, I think I am going to ask them about it. But since this is only month 2 of trying, they were probably just seeing if my body would do it on its own.
