Period Symptoms or Pregnancy Symptoms?

I'm not sure if I'm experiencing pregnancy symptoms, or if it is just my period coming.
I'm 3 days late, at least I think so. Really, I'm not sure. With all the IVF and drug treatments, it's hard to say what my regular schedule is. Based on a 28 day schedule, I'm 3 days late.  I've been late before, with no positive outcome.
I feel like I have symptoms, not quite cramping, but alot of pressure. And its not all the time.
Has anyone had this happen? Could it just be my period coming? I don't want to buy a test only to get disappointed.
The last time I tested, I got my period that day. I'm trying to hold off.
If anyone can share thier experiences, it would help. thanks

In the past, I've had the same symptoms, and I've been pregnant, and I also have not been pregnant. My body is so strange.  I think I just need to wait this one out.

Oh, I see...sorry that I misunderstood.  I would wait as long as possible to test so you have a better chance of it being a bfp.  Do you normally feel pressure before af?  Do you have cramps yet and do you normally get cramps before af?  I would wait a few days, see if af shows(I hope not!) and then take a test first thing in the morning in a few days.  I hope you are pregnant!

Actually, this is not even related to my IVF cycle. The first IVF cycle was in September. That failed, and my doctor changed the meds for the next cycle.  That started October 18th. My body did not respond very well, and the cycle was cancelled about 1 week after I was taking the meds.  So, we tried on our own.  That is why I'm not sure when I ovulated. I was using the OPK's, but nothing really showed up on the stick.  So, I'm not sure if I'm  just waiting for my period, or if it could be something better!!!

When was your transfer?  Was it a 2, 3, 4, or 5 day transfer?  What day did you get the trigger shot?  You would have probably ovulated around 36 hours after the shot was given to you so af would be due I guess around two weeks after ovulation.  When is your next blood test?  I can tell you that when I got pregnant through IUI before, I got a bfp 12dpiui with an hpt, so depending on when you had the transfer, you may be able to test in the morning one of these days.
