Provera

My doctor prescriced me with provera to triggera a period. anyone else been through this i dont know if i really want to do it or not. Dont know what is done after the period is started or anything

Did the Dr. tell you what it was perscribed for. I know it has other less common uses. Maybe you could call and talk to a MA and just ask why it was perscribed.

thanks! im just confused because i do have periods, quite regular too so im not sure how it would help ?

I have taken it more than once. For me the side effects are like bad pms, but it is worth it so I know when to take my Clomid.  I take it for like a week and then in a few days after I finish I get my period, and then if you are taking it with Clomid you take your Clomid when the dr. tells you. If you are just taking it to have a period then you have your period it last for about 4-7 days and that is it.
