Right fallopian tube swollen

Hi everyone.  Well I am new on here but I have nowhere else to turn or to talk too.  I have been trying now for a year and half and have not got caught.  I had a trans vaginal scan and the results came back that I have a right swollen tube and a very tiny cyst???  Is this the reason why I have not caught pregnant yet???  The doctor wants me to go day 21 of my cycle which is 3 days away to have  a bood test of  PRG (Progesterone).  What is this for???  Are things looking bad for me and my husband????  Can I get pregnant...Please help me put my mind @ rest.

A swollen tube is not really well seen on an ultrasound.  Did you have an MRI?  I'd ask the doctor if he thinks the swollen tube is a temporary thing, and while you're on the topic I would ask how on earth they even saw a swollen tube.  (Usually ultrasounds don't pick up subtleties of the tubes.)  A small cyst won't affect anything.

(By "won't affect anything," I mean a small cyst won't harm your chances of getting pregnant.)
