Thanks. I hope you are lucky. :)
I have always been able to ovulate on my own but could not get pg naturally. I had all the tests and they decided, unexplained infertility.
I've gotten pg 3 times. All 3 times were with IUI. The first IUI was with a very low dose of clomid (half of the lowest dose pill) 25mg, with hcg trigger and IUI. That turned out to be ectopic and I lost my right tube. When I conceived son, it was with no follicle stim meds at all.. just monitored with ultrasound, hcg trigger shot and IUI.
We are ttc again and tried to not use any follicle stim meds but every month I kept ovulating on the side without a tube. This happened 3 cycles in a row. I did IUI on two of them because my dr said I still had a chance, on the third cycle I canceled and then started on follistim after that to get some action going on my good side. Last cycle I did 75 units of follistim, hcg trigger and IUI. I don't remember how many days.. seemed like a alot.. my follies were growing really slowly. Anyway, we did IUI again and did not get pg. We did the same thing this cycle and got a positive pg test but my level is a little low, so I'm not celebrating quite yet.
I hope all this helps you. If you have any questions at all, feel free to ask. Don't worry about the med dosage. Better to take it slow and steady than too much too fast.
Best of luck.
Thanks, Did you conceive naturally with intercouse by scheduled from the doctor of did you get IUI? Good luvk to you also :)
I was on follistim and it was 75 units. I think it is better not to over medicate so you don't get hyperstimulated.
I only have one tube also. My son was conceived that way, and I don't know if it is viable or not, but I just got positive pregnancy test again.
Best of luck to you.. I hope it goes well and you get pg real soon.
