Hey! I'm on my 2ww! ( testing date 30/03/11 )

This is the first time i have posted on and i'm desperately looking for advice. I'm 34yrs and been TTC for 2 years. This is my first cycle of ivf. At the stimulation stage my follicles were apparently slow to respond to Gonal F 225. They finally reached 20mm by day 17. ( am i right believe this might decrease egg quality? I heard most people reach optimum size between day 10 - 14?) Then the egg collection was done on day 19. There were 9 eggs, 6 of which fertilised. Then 2 Grade B embryos with 8 cells were transfered on day 3 (last week) The embryologist called this morning to inform me that the remaining embryos which they were growing have stopped, so nothing to freeze. Does this mean the embryos inside me have probably done the same?
Any advice or experience would be greatly appreciated! :)

Thank you! :)

rmmoye, praying for your friend! The babies born at 35 weeks should be just fine, my yongest daughter was born right at 35 weeks, she spent 1 week in the NICU but is perfectly healthy! All those little ones need if for there mommy to get stronger!

lc, we are at the same place in our tww and I want to be strong and wait until the 28th, but I don't think I can do it, lol. Hoping this is it for you and you don't have to have that next IUI or IVF! Good luck!

echo, it's good to be positive! I'm really going to be disapointed this month when I get that bfn, this is the first time in a long time I know we timed everything right, I'm just not sure I did actally ovulate. Even if I did that's still not a guarentee...Thanks for the advise about temping, I'm going to do it this next month have a couple of charts done so when I go to the Dr they will have something to go off of. Thanks so much for the help. I didn't think before about only ovulating every month, you are right, wether I have one tube or two I should still ovulate from both ovaries every month...if everything is normal for me...  It's just weird that my cycle differs everymonth in the patter of a long cycle then a shorter one then back to long and short again...and so on.

I too am looking for those BFP hoping everyone gets one soon and they come fast...this wait goes by easily for everyone!

rmmoye - I am so sorry to hear about your friends cousin. That is very sad. I will pray for her and her little ones.

Well, I can't believe I am at the end of week #1. It actually seemed to pass quickly. lol I hope week #2 goes just as fast. I have been extremely tired and a bit achy. Today I have had a sore hip???? Not sure if the trigger shot can cause any of these symptoms.

I have decided not to test until 3/28. That will be 14dpo. Last time I tested early and got a falst positive from the trigger shot. I knew it was from the trigger but it was crazy to see a positive test for the first time. :0)

I am optimistic this month and I really hope and pray for several BFP's. :0) I know we can do it. lol I don't have any little ones yet so I really want this to work. I'm getting nervous about the thought of IVF. I only have one more shot at IUI if this dosent work. :0(

Good Luck to all and I will keep you posted.

sorry, forgot to answer you : )  I don't go to bed at the same time lol hard to do with two little ones, but luckily my kids are both a little bit older so its not as tough. I just make sure that I set my alarm to wake up at 7:30, which is when I have to take my older son to school anyways, and I make sure I temp at that time everyday. Even on weekends, I set it for 7:30, roll over and take it then go back to bed.  The most important thing is just making sure you take it at the same time roughly everyday and have at least 3 hours sleep straight! its really been neat to see how the hormones really affect your temp even though you may not feel anything yourself.  I've only done it really for about 3 cycles, but only 2 of those cycles I was actually "allowed" to TTC. Its cool cause it saves you money on hpts but just as depressing when you see a low temp as it is seeing a bfn lol...just cheaper.  : )

Good luck this cycle!!!

Oh my I'm so sorry to hear about your friends cousin...what a rough road for her!! I will pray for her and her little ones.

I hope everyone keeps us posted cause I'm really really looking forward to seeing some bfp's this month, some christmas blessings would be great!!!

I decided this month I'm going to try to be positive!  I'm not the kind of person who's unrealistic and I never will be, but I'm definitely going to try to think more positive this month!

Good luck cmin, Isa, blondebunny and rmmoye, please give me some bfps ladies : )
