Women of Strength!!!

A Strong Woman VS. A Woman Of Strength

A strong woman works out every day to keep her body in shape…
But a woman of strength builds relationships to keep her soul in shape.

A strong woman isn't afraid of anything…
But a woman of strength shows courage in the midst of fear.

A strong woman won't let anyone get the better of her…
But a woman of strength gives the best of herself to everyone.

A strong woman makes mistakes and avoids the same in the future…
A woman of strength realizes life's mistakes can also be unexpected blessings and capitalizes on them.

A strong woman wears a look of confidence on her face…
But a woman of strength wears grace.

A strong woman has faith that she is strong enough for the journey…
But a woman of strength has faith that it is in the journey that she will become strong.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend! =)  My last RE appt went great!  We were so surprised with our u/s because we could see our babies' heads, bodies w/beating hearts, arms, legs & fingers!  It was amazing.  I uploaded a pic & also a pic from my day shopping with my mom.  We went shopping for maternity clothes & I was told that since I was a size small pre-pregnancy, I would wear a small in maternity clothes.  Well, I told you all I've thickened up quite a bit & the smalls just wouldn't fit!  haha ;)  But I got lots of great work clothes & we had a fun day together!

Hello,  I am on day 7 after a 5 day embryo transfer on my first and only IVF cycle.  I started having menstrual like cramps on and off last night to now.  I am so scared I am going to get my period.  Everything has gone perfect on this IVF cycle.  I am almost 40, they harvested 14 eggs, 11 fertilized, and on day of transfer they put in 3 embryos and froze 3.  I just keep analyzing each and every physical symptom with my body.   I am tried and increased appetite, but that could be the meds.  This two week period is so emotional and so hard.  I take BT on Sunday, but I am tempted to take an HPT.  I need advice!  Thank you!  Praying so much to be a mommy:)

jmh2005:  How long are your cycles normally?  Do you think maybe they're just becoming more regular?  It's great if the time from O to AF is longer.  Have you seen your new RE yet?  Well, I hope this means a BFP is on its way!  Take care & best wishes =)

Stacey:  Thanks, you're too sweet! =)  Yes, I had a great time shopping & got lots of work stuff.  I did buy a pair of Lucky maternity jeans online & I'm having them hemmed now.  I live in my jeans, so it'll be nice to have a pair that fits good :)  I'm like you, the smalls were too snug.  I'm also finding lots of curves that I didn't know I could have ;) and so the dresses just accentuated each and every little bulge.  Not too attractive!  Haha!  It was a really fun day!  I can't wait to see more pics of Jake!!! =)

dnikki:  Thanks for the pic comments =)  Yes, I did get lots of clothes for work.  All the basics, you know?  black skirts and slacks, lots of tops to mix & match.  As far as the fleas, the best thing for us is Advantage.  Of course dh will have to do it for you.  I get it online at 1800petmeds.  That's great that you're liking your job & making good tips!  Good for you =)

luvkayln:  Oh, I didn't realize that's the dresser your dad made!  It's beautiful & the plaque makes it even more special ;)  What a great talent your dad is =)  No, I totally agree with you on the testing.  We're not going to terminate anyway, so any testing would just be giving us a heads up, but then again it's not definite.  So, no, I doubt we'll do anything.  The amnio scares me anyway.  If there are two babies in a smaller uterus, isn't there more of a chance a baby will be poked by the needle?!  Geez, that would worry me too much.

sbumblebeeo: The fact that you only spotted light brown and for only 1 day is nothing to worry about, I promise! :) I had the exact same thing happen to me when I was pregnant with Kayln, and actually I would spot for 2 days (light brown) every 30 days for the first 3 months when AF was due. So when my 4th month rolled around, i was expecting it but I never spotted again. It's SO common to have some spotting in early pregnancy, and since it was light brown, that's just old blood! It's very possible you just over did it a little yesterday, but I think everything is just fine! :)

Dnikki- I saw your mood, yay, your monitor came!!! Don't you just love it??! :) Were you able to find more ultrasound gel on ebay? How cute that you bought some neutral stuff! So what do you THINK you're having?? A boy or a girl? I think you're having a girl, I don't know why, I just feel like you are! :) As for the fleas, I'm actually in the same boat! We have 4 dogs who have never had fleas before, the oldest being 7!! So we took one of our girls over to Sean's mom's house, and guess what she brought home with her! Uugh!! So we gave everyone baths, flea collars and frontline! I love frontline, it works like a charm! :) Maybe you could try that?? Oh, and I have a Brutis too! Spelled different, but how cute! ;) Good luck!

Stacey- Oh, yes definately! She makes ALL the rules around here already! Haha! :) I'm really taking it easy though, I promise! I'm working more with Addy than I did when I was pregnant with Kayln, but I've also been more active with Addy and even before I was pregnant with her, so I think that really has been my "help" in staying motivated to keep working, ya know? I really do a lot of office work, so that helps for sure! :) Can't wait to see more pics of Jake!! Did you ever do the 3-d u/s with him? We get to do it between 26-30 weeks, which is just right around the corner! Sean thinks it's silly to do it b/c she'll be here at 36-37 weeks, but I still think it'll be fun to see if she looks like our Kayln! :)

Jmh2005- Hhmm.. wonder why your cycles are acting up lately? Are you excercising or doing anything different like that? Have you been stressed? I know that can delay ovulation which would of course then delay AF... Well, hopefully you're pregnant and that's the REAL reason why AF is late! ;) I hope so!!! Do you think you'll test soon? ;) Good luck!

Mommyin10- Ya know, the only genetic tests they offered to do is the downs syndrome test, and I never get that done... Like you said, they give you a %chance of your baby having it, and not a for sure answer. Plus, if that's the plan God had in store for me, then that's the plan we'll take! ;) Do you think you'll have it done? It's everyone's personal choice, but I think it would have just stressed me out knowing something could be wrong, and why put yourself through that when it's only a chance, ya know? So you like her room? :) The dresser in the pics is what my dad made for Kayln. You can't see it in the pics, but the dresser actually got finished after Kayln was born. And since we lost her, my dad got a plaque made that says " Kayln Elizabeth Stegeman, Living eternally in our hearts"  that is on the very top of the dresser above the mirror. I just thought that was so sweet!! ;')

dnikki0928- No, I didn't call the doctor b/c it did seem to stop yesterday and today I haven't noticed anything.  Maybe I was just too active.  Try and rest as much as possible and pack some snacks to take with you.  I'll pray for cool weather for you.  I know I was happy that it was only 75 out side.  As perfect as one could ask for.

stacey- I'm assuming that everything turned out just fine and the bleeding stopped and you have your little Jake?  I hope so.  Thanks for the response.  This is my 3rd pregnancy and hopefully first baby so I am sure I am nervous for nothing.  I wish the doctor would have seen me earlier than 4 more weeks but I guess I'll just have to wait it out.  :(

Stacey: Glad Jake is doing well!!! Have you posted any new pics of him?

Luvkayln: Did you post pics' of Addy's room? I'll have to check 'em out!!! I did buy a couple of outfits today that are gender neutral and a hoodie duckie towel lol! But all the neutral stuff is DUCKS!! My monitor should arrive today (since it didn't on Sat - I wasn't happy lol)...

ad: Sorry about AF :( Are you going on any meds for this cycle?

sbumblebeeo: Sorry about the spotting - at least it was only a little bit of brown though. Did you call your OB? I'm in a wedding this Sat. I'm hoping it's not hotter than heck out and I've already told her to have a chair behind me just in case lol!

jmh: Hmmmm, is there any way you could have your hormone levels checked out? Maybe making to much testosterone and not enough progesterone and estrogen...? I know that's what was with me along with my endo, but maybe call the doc and see if they'll do that for you. Have you gone to the new RE yet?

Mommyin10: I need to check out your new pics! I'm glad everything looked good at your u/s...How's dh reacting to all this? Were you able to find many clothes?

AFM: At the moment I'm enjoying mac n' cheese lol - I went out and did a little shopping today to make sure ds is set for winter clothes and shoes and such. So he's done lol. My monitor that I ordered off of e-bay should be here today so I'm super excited!!! Job is going good - I'm pretty tired at the end of my shift but in 3 days, I've made just shy of $200 in tips!!! YAY!
On a bad note...My dogs have fleas - It's not a total infestation or anything but we saw 2 upstairs (the dogs stay downstairs or outside) so I gave them a flea bath with Ivory soap (it kills fleas and much cheaper than flea shampoo)..and they had a few on them but they weren't crawling everywhere or anything like that. So today I get home and decided to check them again and I checked Lizzy who is yellow (easier to see on her than on Brewtus who is black..) and I saw one!!! EEEEEWWWW I HATE THESE!!! I have to give them yet another bath today, but how in the world do I get rid of them? The dogs literally have never had fleas before and they are 4! I don't know what else to do!

I'll check in later!!!

Hugs, Love and SSBD to all :-)
