When will I get my period (IVF #1 failed and just stopped meds)

My 1st attempt at IVF resulted in a miscarriage. I carried until my 6th week. I stopped taking the Endometrin suppositories and Progesterone in Oil shots on Thursday, 12/17. I was just wondering when I should be expecting my period to start again.  The morning after I stopped the progesterone I had a little pink when I wiped after going to the bathroom but that was all the bleeding I had.  My RE said I would bleed a little (maybe a couple of days) after stopping the progesterone, but I haven't had anything as of yet.  Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Thanks for the encouragement.
I had 5 IUIs and one IVF a long time back. Now after a divorce and change of doctor, I'm trying again and currently in the second IUI. Hoping, praying it works... Otherwise will try another IUI or two before moving on the IVF. I'm 35 and I want many children so there isn't much time
:)
Enjoy the break and best of luck for the next try!

So sorry the IUI didn't work for you. I had 7 IUI's before moving on to IVF.  I will definitely be trying again, just not anytime soon.  DH and I have been trying since July 2008 to have a baby, we started seeing an RE in January 2009 and have done consecutive months of testing and IUI's and now this IVF.  Both mentally and physically I need a break.  DH and I are planning on taking a vacation in March. I'm hoping to start another IVF cycle for April/May.

I think my period may have started today. Had bad cramping, brown and now red semi-flow.  I just didn't know when to actually expect it to come.

Keep your head up.  It will happen for you too!  Are you going to try another IUI? How many have you had?

Sorry about your miscarriage... It must be tough but keep holding on.
I went thru IUI last month and was on progesterone supositories daily after it. My beta came pretty low but doc told me to continue the suppositories to test again after a few days unless periods come. Well, it started with spotting which lasted for 2 days and then I got my period fully. It may be different for you.
Are you going to try again? Big hug...
Sam
