home pregnancy test after ivf possibly correct?

I did egg retrieval on 6/10.  ovidrel(hcg)shot on 6/8.  blastocyst transfer on 6/15.  i know they tell you not to take a home test, but i couldn't help myself.  I thought maybe if i took one every couple of days, the results might be more accurate.  i took a test 6/18 was negative.  today 6/21  tested positive.  Is it even possible?

Hello all! I am a Gestational Carrier and we had embryo transfer on Jan 28th. if i were to have taken a urine pregnancy test today, would it come back positive and if it did would it be accurate at this stage of the wait? i am to take my blood test next wednesday but have been testing by urine since yesterday and today i got a positive. the only medications i have taken are estrogen, progesterone and lupron so no hcg in my system to trick it out. what are your thoughts?

Hi everyone, I am so happy to find this forum!  The postings are very helpful as many of the symptoms and emotions that I am going through.. I know now that I am not alone.  
My retrieval day was on monday 1/24 and they did the transfer on day 2.  I was so worry about the day 2 transfer because i was told they usually transfer on day 3 or 5.  Out of 23 eggs, only 3 were fertilized, quite discouraging.  But  I hope and pray that the two they transferred inside of me stays.  I was told not to take a home pregnancy test but wasnt told why.  I wish i found this website sooner.  Anyhow, I gave into my anxiety and took the home preg test and it was NEGATIVE today  So now I am so sad.  My blood draw day is on this coming monday 2/7,  I hope and pray that it was negative in error.  Best of luck to all and thank you all for sharing your stories.

Blood test done today, it was negative. Prayers and baby dust to everyone else waiting for results. I will try again, hopefully things will workout better next time.

had transfer done on 02/02/11 cant wait to get results .Had my tubes tied 10 years ago and found a new man that had no children.I am 35 and  have 3 Girls and had no problem getting preg then. I had 2 4 cell eggs on day 4 inplanted so im hoping it all goes well and easy.

I got my period today, a very sad day day 7 after transfer. People are right when they say you know your body as I had a feeling the period pains were real.
