iui 2nd time

I am a little disappinted...AF showed this morning...1st iui on the 11th,,,, everything seemed so right...large follicle, good sperm..ovidrel trigger shot, what went wrong???? We are trying again this month...prayers needed!!

i wish you the best of luck!!! keep us all updated.. i am on my 3rd shot of gonal-f today so i have a little bit to go and then we try the back to back iui... so we will see what happends.... best of luck to ev1

Thank You!! I am starting a new cycle a different approach this time. We are starting the Letrazole a few days early on CD1-5. My follicles mature really quick and I am going in for a sono Sunday!! Praying we have a better outcome this time!!!!

Dont' be discouraged, try again! I'm on my 4th IUI and currently in the 2WW.

i can relate to being disappointed with the iui. the 3 iui's that i had were all looking good also...i started the whole fertility process last aug and went through all procedures and surgeries that were needed to be done so there was no interference with the treatment for iui. I had for example:scar tissue removed, a number of cyst (in which kept popping up from no where) those were removed, i also had blockages in my left and then that was cleared and then the right had to be cleared 2 weeks later... that procedure was done just to see if there was a blockage and that was after the hystosalpingogram and there was also a saline test done and everything came back normal and then the blockages... the moral is there could or couldnt be an underlying condition that might not be showing up with te ultrasounds.. so i personally took a break after 3 failed iui's and now i just started my treatment as of yesterday and i requested that i wanted to try the back to back iui's ( i know they say that there isnt much of an increase in the chances but i look at it this way it would be more than what i would have with a single iui) and the dr raised the dosage for my gonal-f to 450 instead of the 300 he had me onin the past and i had good results but raised it and put me on estradoil and ovidril and also endomentrin vag inserts...this whole fertility is very unpleasant but the outcome in some cases is a grand prize i which i hope all of us that are struggling to either continue or start a family get that chance... this may or may not be the same in your case i just wanted to share my experience with you... i wish you all the best of luck in getting preg and having a healthy and happy baby or babies....

Tomorrow,,, but showed up today.... But my follicles mature so quick so I start the letrozole on cycle day 1,, so im starting again today!!!!

Thank you for the details. My doctor also mentioned letrazole so it's good to know others are using that. when was your cycle suppose to come?

It was pleasant. I started letrazole on day 3 of my cycle until day day 7, I went in for my sono and I had a large follicle 29mm, and was told.to.go.jome do my trigger shot-ovidrel, and insimination on the next day!!! I thoight everything was in our favor,,, until this morning the day I was suppose to test and.low and behold AF!!!! So so sad.......

I know you're disappointed! I can understand why. Sometimes I have a hard time understanding why we haven't gotten pregnant yet when all of the condition were right. Just hang in there and you'll get your BFP!

If you don't mind me asking, how was the IUI process? I may have to go that route. Will know more in the next week or some once they get my bloodwork results.
