one patent tube

Question

I have had a blocked tube removed that they think was causing my infertility. Does anyone know about/ been through this yet. I am 36 next month and want to gat on with it. Has anyone done clomid and iui or even just tried naturally?

OO that sounds like a great plan! i can't tell you how many people on here have gotten preg with injectables and IUI : )     well we did  three IUI's and got preg on our third.. the first two were with low dose femara only and my follie didnt' even rupture the first time.. so we really only got two real tries and the last one worked!!! just upsettting that it had to be a loss after all of this! but it happens i guess, gotta keep on going! My IUI will be this friday and then we do a post ovulation ultrasound to see if and how many follicles ruptured!    GOOD LUCK with everything, let me know if you have any questions! : )

thank you for your comment, I met the docs yesterday and we are going to get started on follistim and IUI on my next cycle. - how many cycles did it take for you to become pregnant? - I am sorry to hear that about the miscarriage. - GOOD LUCK with your next treatment cycle. I think the positive energy on this site is great for all of us.

hello! sorry to hear about that! Lots and lots of people get preg naturally with only one tube : )   i have only one working ovary (the "bad" side does not function due to severe endometriosis and an endometrioma destroyed it - had it removed by surgery, and we have lots of other issues too) we got preg using femara, follistim and IUI.. unfortuantely miscarred later , but trying again with the injectables and femara and IUI.. so hopefully it will work again! GOOD LUCK!
