ECTOPIC PREGNANCY!!!

So after finding out on Mon my baby was in my tubes and I had to terminate it I want to my doc on Fri to see what was going on he said the egg is still there and it can take two months for my body to reabsorb it and then it can take even longer for my hormones to go back to normal to even try again. I asked him how long and he just said awhile and he was like we'll talk more about it later once we get through this first. The medicine worked because the egg isn't getting bigger it's just sitting there.has any of you ladies been through this and how long was it before you could even try again?? I feel like we ain't going to be trying again till next year, which is not want I want hear of course. Just feeling down..

So after my doctor appt today I still can't have sex, but he did say that my body is reacting well to the meds my hcg have been cut in half and because of that I don't have to see the doc every week now every two weeks, but the egg is still there and from what he said it will be there for a few weeks and it will take about 4-6 weeks before I get my period. The cramps are getting crazy like real pain now and he said that is normal as my body breaks it down. I did have a messed up thought though like I would be far enough that I may have had a heartbeat and it mad me sad. I know I shouldn't think about it, but it just came in my head. Doing better then what I was last week, but now I feel numb and a little angry. I hope my body keeps up the good work in my hopes of hopes I break this down faster so that I can begin again faster,but no one knows not even me.

Thanks DFGW I will def ask about that. Well I did get a call from the doctors today saying the shots are working. My hcg levels are cut in half. I was at over 3,000 now I'm at 1,800, so that is at least good to hear after everything. I have a doctor appt on Thurs so we'll see what he has to say then

I had an ectopic unfortunately that ruptured I lost the tube and ovary! From what numerous drs suggested was asking for a hysthroscopy which would clean out the tube. Then you should be able to start a cycle or start trying the next month!

Hey hun so sorry I'm late responding. Yes we tried again in Sept and so far so good. I'm almost 7 weeks!!! Don't wanna talk about it too much cuz I know how it feels talking to someone pregnant.. Yes it also good to have someone to talk to ... Because I dont think the husbands understand the support system they offer is awesome but to be able to relate to someone on the same level is totally different I'm glad we found eachother

So today I am getting the cramps now, it's not bad enough for me to cry or go the doc just bad enough for me to be like aww. It is an annoying pain and it goes all the way to my back. Just been in pain all day. This really ***** and I'm only allowed to take tylenol and right now two of the is not enough..

No he hasn't he told me he wants to focus on this part first before he talks about anything. He did say the egg isn't getting bigger so the meds helped and I believe I caught mine so fast before I had any of those symptoms that you had and from the way it sounds it was pretty bad. I'm trying not to think about it but when I'm alone I think about it and the same goes for when I see pregnant women or friends. Are you guys trying again now? How has it gone so far? I'm glad I found you because I felt so alone and it makes me feel better to have found someone who knows how I feel

I couldn't even tell you how I got thru... Keeping myself busy was the main thing because I always thought about it... I always had dreams of being in labor seeing and holding my baby even the baby interacting with my stepdaughter and adopted kids.. It is hard I can assure you that I prayed that god would bless me to be able to be strong enough. I have always been the type to let things go but it was the hardest. And it seem like I saw more people pregnant ever after terminating the pregnancy .. Our symptoms where a little different tho because I had had sex and started bleeding bad like a pool of blood was in the bed ... And the cramping was unbelievable I couldn't walk, my husband had to carry me down the steps to the car jus to get to the hospital and I tried everything sitting in the tub laying down everything but I couldn't take it and had to go the Dr. Don't give up tho has doctor talked about options after the finished procedure

When they admitted me to the er they asked if I had any pain and I said no I never had any pain now I have some spotting nothing really serious. He did tell me that cramps my get worse like period cramps. Right now I get random pain on my left side which is the side the egg is at but other then that no pain. So then 6 Mons it is then. I have to take another blood test on Mon and I see the doc on thurs. How did you get through all of this? How are you doing after all this?

Hey hun, I commented on your other post. Yes I had to wait until June to try again but I didn't try again until Sept. Have you started bleeding yet? That's the worse part because its an actual clot and the pain in unbelieveable even with the meds ... DO NOT GIVE UP HOPE!!!! I promise you I was in the same boat with the same thoughts ... Pray about it God has a plan in every thing so I wait about 6 months that's what I was told ... Stay strong you got this
