question for IUI and IVF patience

How many tries did it take for you to get pregnant? Were you on any fertility drugs? Did you do IUI or IVF, with a known or unknown donor?
My wife and I are going on our 5th month but 3rd try. The first month was on 50mg of clomid with 3 mature follicles and didn't get pregnant. Second attempt was on 75mg clomid with 7 follicles (5 mature and 3 close, skipped that one, didn't want to be "octo-mom") and last month was on 2.5mg femara, with only 1 follicle, and found out 2 days ago that i'm not pregnant. All with (same) unknown donor. (so technatly I've only had 2 IUIs done.) (ps. i'm a health 26yr old)
Will it happen anytime soon?

i failed IUI with injectibles, but my first IVF was succesful and i am 24 weeks pregnant.

Hi, it only took one cycle for me.  I am 36.   I took femara 5mg, follistim 75iu injection, novarel 10000iu injection,  estrace not sure of mg., and progesterone 400 mg(i think) with timed intercourse.(no iui no ivf no donor) Had 2 follicles 16 and 18 mm.  (didnt want to be octomom either so it worked out well) I just know the cocktail my dr used worked, but different meds work differently on everyone but it couldnt hurt to suggest other things to your dr. Some doctors try all the low tech stuff first.  My dr takes an aggressive approach right off the bat  Good luck to you.
