medicine change

Hi I am on prevaid and just went to have a prescription refilled but to my surpise it was of a different color than what I used to get I ask the pharmacist but he said the color changed but it's the same medicine...so what I would  like to know do anyone know if this is true or not....just want to make sure

Usually my pharmaqcy p[uts a little tag on the bottle telling me the medicine might look different if they have changed suppliers----just call and talk to the pharmacist to verify that the color change is still the right medication.

  Hi and welcome to the GERD forum.

The Pharmacist would be the go to person regarding changes like this, they know more about the meds then Drs....so if ur pharmacist is saying it is the same med, then u have to trust them to know.

I am not on that med as of now so I can not concur with what I have.
