19M Anal Fissure??

Hi, I'm a 19 year old male. I had my last physical exam 2 weeks ago BEFORE my symptoms started. About a week ago, I started to feel a burning sensation near my anus. Within a matter of days this area began to bleed every time I had a bowel movement. I am almost positive I am not bleeding from the anus. Only once was the bleeding very excessive. Usually it just shows up on the toilet paper. It actually now pains me to walk and even stand up. I was hoping it would just get better and go away, but it's not getting any better. I'm getting worried. I have never had any problems like this before. I'm too embarrassed to tell anybody (including my parents) about this. No, I have never been involved in anal sex or anything like that before. Perhaps I have an anal ulcer or an anal fissure? I tried diagnosing myself today, and I'm really getting worried now. My diet is absolutely normal. I am about 5'11 and weigh about 170 pounds. Thanks for your help!

To tell you the truth, that was really good advice. I sucked it up and told my dad. I have hemorrhoids. The embarrassing part is my dad is a GI, I was just too abashed to ask him. It was a lot easier than I thought to speak to him on the phone about it. Thank you!

It could be several things, and this is why you need to see a gastroenterologist and get this diagnosed properly.  Don't be afraid to tell your parents, they love you and would want to know.
