Blood in Stool

I am a 35 year old female.  I have tons of stress and I know I need to get rid of it but anyway, I have had an upset stomach and blood in my stool.  Not red but very very very dark.  When I was a child and early teenager I had stomach ulcers but have not had them since.  I have not been eating very much lately due to my stomach not feeling good and the dark sometimes runny stool.  I am concerned and do not have the money for DR visits and test..
Thank you
Amy

As per the above [posting - do seek professional medical advice and a firm diagnosis (not an opinion such as "well it looks as if it might be.....(one of the minor causes of rectal bleeding).

If there is any doubt then request a colonoscopy and an endoscopy - and at a hospital where these procedures are performed all day/every day.

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  Dark colors indicate a problem higher in the intestines.  You need to see a doctor about this.  There is no way to know what you have without you seeing a doctor and these symptoms can indicate serious problems.  Can you go to a walk-in clinic in your area?
