Blood in Stool

Today when I had a bowel movement I noticed streaks of bright blood on my stool.What should I do at this point?
I had Robotic Prostate surgery February 23,2008 and have done great.First psa check was zero.Could there be any connection with the blood in the stool and the surgery?I would much appreciate a reply from the doctor.

For past two month I have stomach carmp and blood in stool ,I have done endoscopy,colonscopy and ct scan for find the blood trace. But not able find
Doctor is saying it is normal u don't have any problem .
Can some one help me ,did any body have this type of symptems

This does sound like one of the less severe causes of rectal bleeding - but I suggest that unless your doctor can positively reassure you that this is the case, then request a colonoscopy which is a very comprehensive test and can provide maximum reassurance.  You are at the age when more sinister causes of rectal bleeding can present themselves which is why a (hopefully normal) colonoscopy examination is worthwhile.

Usually bright red blood signals hemmoroids. However because of you past history I would follow up with your doctor. If there is blood in the actual stool, the stool color would be black. Bright red blood signals fresh blood so its usually hemmoroids but again check with your doctor.
