CBC Blood Count Values CT Scan Results normal

hi everybody. i hope someone here can help out.. about a month ago, i started having stomach pains, kind of like cramping off and on. didn't think too much about it. went on about my business, i was working out of town and mentioned my symptoms to a lady and she said she had the same thing and went to the doctor and was told there was some kind of viral infection going around and it would have to run it's course. other people were complaining of the same symptoms. anyway, i got a bit better, then i started havig cramping pain down lower below my waistline. Bloating and a hard time passing gas...No constipation. the pain was most notable while i was sitting. but standing there was very little, if any pain and no pain at all while lying down or sleeping.anyway, i finally got tired of it and went to the ER and they did a CBC bloodcount. CT scan abdominal and pelvis... they told me everything was normal, and pretty much sent me on my way... the ER doctor just told me to eat some yogurt and plenty of fiber, lose some weight and that my intestinal tract might have been irritated due to some kind of viral infection. Anyway, I did as I was told and things have gotten pretty much back to normal... my stools have always been normal. No blood or anything out of the ordinary. I noticed that after eating the yogurt and drinking buttermilk, that MOST AND ALMOST all of the pain is gone... none whatsoever...My bloating is gone as well and I am able to pass gas. Anyway...here are my CBC values along with all the tests.. CT scan results as well...I will conclude after I post the test results..

CT scan was as follows
small hiatal hernia, mild fat containing umbilical hernia, mild diverticular disease is noted without evidence of acute diverticulitis, the appendix is normal, there is no evidence of obstruction, free fluid or free air. no evidence of urinary tract stone or obstruction. also, the report says liver, spleen, and pancreas are normal in size, position, and density. the gallbladder is normal. the adrenal glands are normal, no significant retroperitoneal adenopathy appreciated. aortic diameter is less than 3cm. kidneys are normal in size. no evidence of hydronephrosis. no renal stone noted. tiny anterior cortical cyst on the left. On the final report the tiny cortical cyst was not mentioned on the final report.
My question is, do I need to be concerned about the eosiniphils being elevated. I have had eosinophils elevated about10 years ago and it was due to an allergic reaction. At the time that my blood was taken for this CBC report 2 weeks ago, I had a rash on my chest and also a rash on my lower back. I had these same rashes last summer and they cleared when summer was over. Could my itchy rashes have been the cause of my eosinophils being elevated? 14% is not too much higher than what the normal range allows on this CBC count normal values. My eosinophils were either 13% or 15% back 10 years ago..
Anyway, I am doing much better now since I have increased my fiber, cut out the junk foods, drink buttermilk and eat yogurt everyday. all of my pain is gone... Do I need to be concerned or just play it by symptoms. I feel great! I have been exercising/walking 1-2 miles a day...thanks for your help!

Tinky--

I don't know what you mean by blood count is 137.  Is that red cells or white cells?

Your glucose is fine but borderline as it should be less than 99 if the blood was taken fasting.  You need to stop eating so many simple carbs, add some fiber to your diet.

Your cholesterol is not good at all.  Total cholesterol should be less than 200. Total cholesterol is made up of good and bad types.  I'm assuming your bad cholesterol is making your total # high which means you need to get a grip on your diet.  Cut out the fatty, fried, sugary foods, fatty meats, fast foods.  Your doctor may want to start you on cholesterol meds or may give you the option of doing diet and exercise for 3 months and then retest you.  If not better then it's time for drugs.  Cholesterol will clog up your blood vessels and increase your blood pressure which puts you at risk of heart attack and stroke.

You can change all of this simply by changing your eating habits and adding some exericse.

I found out that my blood count is 137, what does that mean and my glucose is 104, and cholestrol is 296.  My doctor wants to go over everything with me next week.  I am scared what she will tell me.

let me add that the high eosinophils back 10 years ago were related to wash powder detergent that i was having an allergic reaction to. maybe i need to go back to using Dreft again.
