Cause of pancreatitis

I was recently givin medication to help with a frozen shoulder. I took two Solpadol pills and within half an hour of taken them i was rushed into hospital with severe stomach pain. The doctors ran test and i was told it was pancreatitis. I was checked for Gal stones, was clear. They said they found no cause, and it was put down to alcohol misuse. I am not a heavy drinker. Could the Solpadol have caused this? I read in the leaflet one of the severe side affects is pancreatitis.

Doctors always say alcohol abuse causing pancreatitis. I have it and never drank. Neither does my gf. As a matter of fact I don't know anyone in my group that got it from drinking.

I believe there are some reports of pancreatits when using this medication, however, if you only took them a half hour before being taken to the hospital, I don't believe the med could be the cause of the issue. You may want to consider looking for other causes.
