My husband had his gall bladder removed  three months ago and he still has almost daily diarrhea.  He is careful with his diet and does not comsume too much fat.  Does any one have any ideas on why and diet . Thanks

You may want to ask the doc if he can try a bile binding resin like questran or somehting like Welchol. There's also the possibility that calcium could help. But it has to be in a specific form and take ant specific times of the day. Google 'lnape and calcium,' and look at the information provided. The contraindication would be if he has a history of kidney stones or parathyroid problems.

I had my gallbladder out 2 months ago and I eat a low fat diet and also daily diarrhea.  I read online that it is common after gallbladder removal and some people it gets better over time and others always have diarrhea.  Does your husband feel better atleast after gallbladder removal??  I had mine removed but it did not take away the pain. :(
