Try Simethicone (GasX) the Chewables are flavored and work quicker than the oral tablets, It breaks up large trapped gas and air in the stomach and colon, allowing it to pass. I would also go to your local Health Food Market and purchase a good brand of "PROBIOTIC" Jarrow is a good brand and has a high content. If these do not help, get tested for HPylori bacteria by a Gastroenterologist  Best Regards FTB4

My doctor has now ordered some genetic test for Chrons and I sure don't want that! On the suggestion of my daughter. I am trying to watch gluten and dairy.  I don't even want to eat and have lost about 12 lbs.
These are not vague symptoms.  I am in extreme discomfort from my stomach down into my bowels.  I had my de-caf coffee this morning with non-dairy creamer and a piece of wheat and gluten free toast.  Yuk.  I am now really starting to hurt again.  I live on Simethicone liquid antacid, Pepto, my Alprazolam trying to control this.
Tried Align a couple of times and seemed to feel worse.
Thanks

Margot have you considered doing a genetic test for genes related to celiac disease or gluten sensitivity? There are a lot of people who don't have the 'classic' symptoms, but have a variety of symptoms that aren't easily classified? Enterolab has a good cheek swab test that isn't horribly expensive and is reliable.

I haven't followed your whole story, but it might be something to consider.

In the people I work with, a lot of 'vague' symptoms that don't boil down to a true diagnosis can often be found to be related to food intolerance issues. We find migraines, bloating, gas, diarrhea or constipation, abdominal discomfort, rashes or blotches - itchy or not, certain skin conditions, fatigue that hits like a rock, weight gain or loss, very tight musculature and joint pain/body ache, can often be indicative of checking for food issues.
