Diverculitis and prengancy

Hi everyone.I am a 29 years old female and since 6 months I am having an on and off pain in my lower left side of the abdomen.I feel very bloated when I eat and I feel better when I have a bowel  movement or when I eat liquid food. The pain is not very strong but it is very uncomfortable. Nothing wrong with my reproductive system though. I supposed to have a colonoscopy done last week but  I think I am pregnant and I cannot have a colonoscopy during the pregnancy.I do not know how the doctors can find our what I have during the pregnancy.I read about diverculitis and I am afraid I might have it but I coud not find anything in the internet about diverculitis and pregnancy.
Does anyone had any similar experience or know how diverticulitis can affect the pregnancy. Any answer would be appreciated.

Thanks for your response! I have the same symptoms but I do not know where they come from, from the pregnancy or from the pain in my large intestine. I am going to my gynecologist today and let see what she will say. It is really hard to find information about diverticulitis and pregnancy because people who are diagnosed with diverticulitis are much older than us.

I'm 27 female recently diagnosed with Diverticulitis.  From the symptoms I really thought I might be pregnant, bloated, nausea, diarrhea, light headed, exhausted all the time, but I knew I couldnt be with birth control and I had a test before the BC.  Turns out its diverticulitis.  Symptoms to me seem very similar.

Never had a  child though so I cant say for sure.

Hope this helps.
