Doctor is clueless, going on circles; bad stomach pains and cramps

The past few months I've had more and more lower stomach cramps\pains. Its right at the belt line, sensitive to touch also. I've noticed if I go without eating I don't have any stomach issues or pains, I was recently on omeprezole for supposed stomach acid, which did nothing.  I continue to have pain and have now stopped taking it.

My stool has gone from regular solid to now waking up in the morning and 45 minutes in running to the bathroom hoping I don't miss the toilet.  About 2 months back I had a really bad episode where I should have went into the E.R. I ended up getting super bad lower stomach cramps on a scale of 1-10 approximately a 9. Followed with that I also was tasting burnt popcorn burps and yellow stools. The pain with stool and burping continued for 10 days and subsided, now I've had stomach pains\bloating on and off for months after the major episode.  The onset of the episode came from eating the following within 4 hrs- beef gravy, steak, egg noodles, popcorn.(i havent ate popcorn since)

Strangely some days i can actually feel my stomach contracting and food\gas passing through my intestines. I will also release a TON of gas all the time, which is where my cramps are coming from. Sometimes the build up and non releasing of gas is which causes even worse cramps.

On a side note I had 3 pieces of broccoli the other day and within 45 seconds I was sweating, hot flashes, super bad cramps which finally subsided about an hr later.

My doctor thought it was some sort of acid reflux or bad bacteria in the stomach, he has now turned his thoughts to IBS. I'm now attempting a FODMAP diet, yet can eat wheat flour breads or white breads without issues.
Any tips with ways to get rid of the constant bloating or pain would be very appreciated.

I'm not sure if its any relevance but I did have a coil put on my spleen back in about 2008 because of internal bleeding from a car accident.

No I haven't been to a specialist, I'm currently just starting a FODMAP diet to see if that sets anything better, if it doesn't I'm going to proceed to a specialist.

I am in the same boat as you, sort of...for 3 months I've had chronic diarrhea, cramping, bloating, etc...so very frustrating...I've had a bunch of tests done and so far all clear...have you seen a gastro?
