Dry Eyes and IBS

Hi, I'm a 20 y.o. African American male who has already seen a G.I. doctor. Blood test came back negative, and still waiting on a stool test. I've had dry eyes for the past 3 months and have had loose stool for as long as 5 months. I have talked to my G.I. doctor and he prescribed me for NuLev. My thing is, however, that when I fast for say 6 hrs, my eyes improve and I start to see tears being produced. The moment I eat, however, my eyes are back to being uncomfortable and dry.

NuLev is known to reduce bodily fluids and tears aren't an exception. There is a link between eating and my dry eyes. Anyone have an idea of what I should do?

I have been smoke free for almost 11 months. I stupidly decided to light up again and guess what happened my guts have been upset and my eyes inflamed for around 2 weeks now. My suggestion quit smoking forever. I never had these symptoms until I startted smoking again. extreme gut pain, constipation,bloated gassy feeling,  diahrhea, eye redness inflammation, gut inflammation? all happened the same day I started smoking cigs again and is still with me. I hope this goes away soon as I have other problems to deal with dont need anymore problems.

i have almost the same problems, been on gastric medication for pain under right ribs, i cant sleep on the right side and stomach feels tender, i do suffer from diahorrea for many years, normally loose stools and haemorroids which bleed occasionally

i have been suffering from eye issues too, also abnormal lft blood tests for more then 4 years

i messaged because you asked about smoking, as i smoke and have been on and off
i am goin to see a dr today to see if i can get a colon scopy done,
i think thas the best thing to do, get a colon scopy or an endoscopy of the stomach and duodenum
