Fast digestion

My boyfriend has always been pretty skinny. When he was a kid his mom would hardly let him and his siblings eat. Now that he's living in a different house hold, he's been eating a lot but doesn't gain a lot of weight. Lately I've been noticing that after he eats like a whole mountain full of food, he goes to the bathroom about an hour later and then he's hungry again. Is it something different, or is it just a fast digestion?

It sounds as if he could be suffering from bulimia, or some kind of emotional issue related to food. Remember the food could be coming out of either end. He might not be emotionally coping with the change in eating or his mother not letting him and his siblings eat possibly. Is he binge eating before the trips to the bathroom?
