I have recently been to the docs and some of my symptoms are similar to yours. I can really identify with the 'metallic' smelling wind and feeling like I am going around smelling of pooh from the smell left in my clothes. Probably you need to consider getting some stool tests. I am also having blood tests but don't have results back yet. Investigations (in my case) are
possible infections, celiac, ibs. A friend who has tested positive for H Pylori and already has an ulcer suggests getting tested for H Pylori, Candida etc.
Meanwhile consider changes to your diet, I have found this helped thestinky, embarrasing all day wind and have cut out wheat and as much sugar as possible. If this has gone on for a while and/or you have other symptoms it would be really useful to have tests to pinpoint the cause whilst it is still active.
I have never heard of using lemon water, but I don't see again bad about it. I thing that if your feeling rectal pressure than colonic irrigation might do some good, but it won't cure a bacteria infection (or anything else like that), and it can be painful and can cause complications.
I have read up abit and I am going to also try lemon water, it aids digestion amongst many other things. I feel that I have bacteria, just a feeling but it feels like that, like sewage! eek! hate it. I will go to my doc and get him to test my stools and start there you are right. what about colonic irrigation would that help??
That's good you are going to see a doctor. I think a lot of people who aren't helped by doctors come here and the ones that were helped by doctors don't need to come. Also, a lot of people don't have health insurance so they come here instead of seeing a doctor.
hi there, thanks. I have been researching the net for awhile and there are so many symptoms that match different diagnosis and it is hard to self diagnose. I will do this, as today I have just had constipation and headaches all day. It just seems that so many doctors have not helped so many people on these forum??
You should see you doctor and get some stool tests done. It might be an infection or something else, but stool testing is the first place to start.
