GAS STUCKED IN MY THROAT

I had EDG and still worked afterwards.  Docs always say nothing to worry, not sick.  Until I felt this bothersome gas in my throat, a disturbing sensation that has been going on for days.  Literally frustrates me since people always think that everything is all in the head when I really feel so sick and discomfort makes me lose sleep.  I just know that a certain amount of air was blown into my stomach in order to facilitate better viewing of organs but is it possible that my throat was swollen making me feel that something is stucked and I always have the need to burp, like an air is often trapped?

It does sound like GERD.  However if by EDG (which I have never heard of) you mean EGD then that is the same thing as an upper endoscopy.  An upper endoscopy (or EGD) won't always show GERD though.

You probably have GERD. I'd go see your GI and see if they can do a upper endoscopy to see what the problem is.
