Help!! I am in agony!

Does anyone have any answer to chronic gastritis? I have been in agony for over a year now. I was diagnosed with that 10 months ago. It has been a very rough year. I live on Nexium, Carafate, Pepto-Bismol, Rolaids and anything else that I think will help. It does feel better when I eat and I have not lost any weight. I have had a colonoscopy recently and that was fine. Have had all kinds of blood work, which has been fine.

I am due to see my GI on Thursday and wondered what I should ask him about this Major Problem! I have read that Mastic Gum and Peppermint work. Does anyone have any experience with anything that makes them feel better? I think he will probably suggest that I have another endoscopy.

hi, gastritis is different in people only in the fact of how much damage the stomach liining has been affected, some people heal in 2 to 6 months and some take a little longer depending on their diets,if you adhere to a strict gerd free diet then i would suggest you take a tea-spoon of pure honey once a day for two weeks, this is to rejuvenate the tissue growth in your stomach and esophagus, if your chest pain  from gastritis is causing fast heart-beats and palpitaions then i would suggest you get hold of a paper back and breathe into it through your mouth and exhaling the carbon dioxide back through your mouth for about 20 seconds, do not use your nose during this, you should have immediate relief, this procedure also closes the sphincter (stomach door) so the acid flow stops and gastritis symptoms retreat, cheers.
