Help Me Plz!!!!!

Hi im 25 yrs old. And my doc says I have muslce spasms in my shoulders and neck and shoulder bladdes, but for the last 6 months i have developed swollen lymp nodes in my neck and in my chest right above the breasts. They really hurt alot. I also have High Blood Pressure so i get worried everytime it flares up and hurts. I have been having alot of heartburn, I have had 3 ekg's on my heart and they say everything is good. My doc also said well ur heartburn and your pain in ur shoulders and back and neck could be from your gallblatter. She didnt do anything or check for anything. She said that gallblatters usually heal there selfs. Well last night being the (latest time) I had surging pain felt like it was my stomach and gas and heartburn all at the same time it went all the way down my stomach and into my lower back and it hurt for hrs. I took some gas ex to see if it was gas. then I started getting very nausas and throwing up. I am not sure when it went away cause my BP was so high I took my emergency pill to bring it down and it made me pass out. So what I was woundering what does that sound like. I am really scared cause it just hits all the sudden with no warning at all. Ty so much!

OMG, how the heck can a doctor tell someone that the gallbladder heals itself. She got that mixed up with the liver. I guess if you told her that, she might say she was "almost right."

As mentioned above you need to find a Gastro doctor. And make mention of your swollen lymph glands, though he might say thats not "his specialty' let him look anyhow and refer you to someone.....I think the swelling in the lymph glands means your body is fighting an infection or virus or something...Whether or not gallbladder causes swollen lymph glands, I don't know but maybe the Gastro that you find will know. He should know, but at this point nothing surprises me, so if he doesn't know, ask him for a referral.

And the vomiting and pain does sound like gallbladder. A friend of mine thought her nausea and pain was gallbladder yet it took a while before she was diagnosed, which is beyond stupid and scary that they didn't diagnose her right off the bat, so you have to really be your own advocate these days because some doctors minds are on the golf course when you are talking to them....Good luck.

I agree with patient915. The gallbladder does NOT heal itself and some testing may need to be done to determine whether the problem is your gallbladder or if there is another cause for your discomfort.

In many individual with uncontrolled or poorly-controlled GERD, they can experience esophageal spasms. The spasms are miserable and can be extremely painful, often-times resembling a heart attack.

Ask your doc to do more testing to get to the cause, or seek another opinion.

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  Your doctor is very wrong by saying that gallbladders usually heal themselves.  I would recommend seeing a gastroenterologist about this and getting some testing done to figure out what is going on.  Are you on any treatment for the heartburn?
